I'm remaining in the drawing for Toronto, but if it's a bust (which seems to be very likely), then I'll just bank on the additional August Detroit-Hamilton-wherever rumors.

No Toronto public sale for ya?
Nah.. I mean mayyybe I'll look but it seems like it'll be a lightning fast sell out. Even Detroit last tour I could only get upper bowl a million miles away through TM when the lottery was a bust. Not really excited about driving 10 hours RT to Toronto for bad seats.
Well hopefully you don't have to deal with tm. What route are you talking?? Holt should be less than a 5 hour drive?
Oh please let it rain today.

  • I also have my fingers crossed for some luck in Toronto! It'll be my first PJ concert!

If the lottery doesn't work out for me though, I do see that the 'Edge 102.1' radio station will have some sort of presale for the Toronto show. It looks like the presale begins on Thursday at 12:00 PM ET. I'm not privy to what the password will be though - I guess, as a precaution, I should perhaps sign up for their emails.

69 thru Port Huron-Sarnia, 402, 401, 403, QEW, Gardiner.. made this trip many times actually and it is pretty close to 5 hours, especially factoring in customs. I'd definitely be open to the rumored Hamilton show over Toronto since I have a friend in Stoney Creek just outside there.

  • Does anyone know if the Fenway dates would preclude adding a summer date in Hartford? Fenway should be great but the XL Center is just 10 minutes from my house.

Just saw someone posted on facebook that they spoke to Jim koplick and he said no pj in Hartford this year. Koplick is the big concert promoter in Connecticut.

Do you think the Wrigley and Fenway lottery will be about 2 weeks from now or possibly as soon as next week?

1st timer? Congratulations! Best concert experience IMO, there isn't even a close second!

I scored reserved for Philly 2 - missed out on MSG 1....... Debating whether to go for Philly 1 or MSG 2 in the public on sale - the Mrs. would prefer have a night off in between, but I think we will stand a better chance of scoring through TM for Philly 1.
(That & Philly 1 is on my birthday!)

Good luck to those who are still waiting for lottery results.

Supposedly the public sale for Fenway is February 12. So the drawing is probably just a few days before. So the day we can start making our picks is probably later this week. Friday would be my guess.

What what? Feb 12th? So soon? Will Pearl Jam confirm that there will be more dates this Fall happening on the West Coast? To do Wrigley or Fenway Park? Or just wait it off for rumored Fall shows?

  • I gambled and booked flights over from the UK back in early Nov when I started reading this thread. Luckily the tour got announced and unbelievably after a 7 hour wait I won my first choice lottery. Its a surprise trip for my husbands 40th, feeling very happy but totally exhausted its been a long ride.....
Sorry to anyone that missed out and good luck on Friday.

Booking flights based on the rumors was a huge leap of faith, congrats! I'm glad it worked out for you.

That will be an amazing 40th for your husband, he's a lucky guy!

If a Leg 2 in the US is announced for the fall and not an EU tour and there is no EU this year (PJ25) i will lose a lot of respect for the band...what a way to disrepect your fans...only US fans matter it seems...

So if PJ doesn't do what you want them to do this year, you will lose all respect for them?

    I'm sure they'll be heartbroken.

"lose respect for the band" if they don't tour Europe?

I could probably easily name a dozen British/European bands that never/rarely tour America that I would love to see.. In a perfect world, every band would play every country on every continent every tour but that just doesn't happen.
