I know its not the most popular option but personally I would love to see PJ25 happen on 10/22 in Las Vegas. That city is designed to be a destination. Arguably the easiest spot logistically for anyone needing to travel.

I'm not opposed to Vegas at all...

There is a brand new arena opening in april... I think I read they are paying top $ for acts... perhaps they could negotiate for unlimited 10c tickets for 2 nights? That would be pretty damn sweet...
GnR tickets for 2 shows there went on sale this morning. $350 for GA floor, sold out both nights.
I'm 99% convinced PJ is playing there this year, but I didn't consider it for PJ25...

To do an outdoor event in Seattle in the fall seems like you're just begging for rain... and there is no way they do something like that at Key arena... I don't think PJ25 is at the Gorge either, as management already said that's not happening...

I tell you what, Las Vegas, in that new arena, makes a lot of sense... abundant hotels... abundant flights... not to mention they host about 3 billion conventions per year so PJ could do pretty much anything they could think of convention/pop-up shop wise... travel packages... 25th anniversary falls on a weekend

    Interesting

Any truth to Pittsburgh (8/11 or 8/13), Columbus, Detroit and Hamilton being added between Fenway and Wrigley?

I wouldn't even be trying for Toronto 10c tickets if this was confirmed they'd be coming back to Detroit...

Do you guys think a 2nd night in Toronto will be added?

Or will it be like Seattle 2013 where everyone expected and wanted a 2nd night, but it never happened?

For Seattle '13, Ticketmaster leaked / listed night 2 on their website to later take it down. We were so hoping for a 2nd night but no dice.

I would love a 2nd night in Toronto. We'll see what happens.

Weird the Air Canada Centre's official website hasn't yet listed Pearl Jam up on their Calendar. http://www.theaircanadacentre.com/Calendar.asp?MONTH_CHOICE=5&YEAR_CHOICE=2016 . If Bieber can get 2 nights @ the ACC, don't see why Pearl Jam can't secure 2 nights @ the ACC. They don't have to worry about the Leafs making it to the playoffs, cause they won't. :p
I have been in contact with people at the ACC since this whole rumour mill got started...wanted to enquire about a box for the show. I was told "when show is announced to reach out again". So I emailed last week and the response I got was "we will only be selling boxes for the second show and that we will forward you info soon". Take that response for what you will...I have zero idea whether it is legit or not.

I honestly think there won't be many dates between Fenway and Wrigley. Those are massive shows for pj, and they will get more people traveling to the shows, if the summer isn't booked out. The band is going to want these shows sold out, and the best way to make that happen is to clear the calendar.

Fenway & Wrigley will be long sold out before any potential summer shows are added.
Yup this is why they announced them with the spring dates. Get these shows sold then announce the rest of the dates. I predict early March they will announce more dates.
When the Toronto sells out instantly ... and it should. I bet they announce a second show in the GTA very fast. Maybe even the same day. I have seen that happen many times with many bands in the last 30 years.

Can anyone recall definitively when PJ has delayed listing venues on their tour announcements in the past? If so when? How often? etc...

There is no way I am missing a show in 2016, but the only opportunity I have is to fly from Cali to Florida and catch two shows in Miami and Tampa (drop a grand+, leave the wife + kids, sleep on the couch or with the dog when i get back, etc...).

Ahhhhhhh, Only one day left to decide before the raffle...Please PJ just send a little personal message i wont tell anyone.

Good news is, Seeing them in Florida will be a blast, anyone wanna hit up the Everglades between Miami and Tampa?

    From the band's announcement:

"Ten Club is excited to bring you the official Pearl Jam 2016 North American Tour Announcement. Pearl Jam will perform a series of North American concert dates between April and August of 2016."

I can't see them adding a significant second leg until after August based on the wording. To me this announcement sounds like they are leaving the door open for dates outside of the April through August window. It is a little b.s. if they can't announce other June to August dates at this time.
  • This is the tour and the pj25 so either get right or get left.

Yeah, I get why they stagger the announcements and all but it's a little annoying. If I do end up getting Toronto 10C tickets and then they end up playing Detroit I'll just have to do both.. sounds a bit silly to complain about being forced to see two shows I'm realizing ha.

Interesting. I take that statement literally. Meaning they will be performing between April and August in North America only. Meaning nothing after August. I think the statement leaves the door open for more dates between these months. I definitely think there will be more dates around Bonnaroo in mid/late June and in between fenway and wrigley. I think they announce the rest of the dates shortly after Fenway and Wrigley have sold. So probably late February early March.

  • If the ACC is available the night after the 10th I don't see why they wouldn't tack on an extra night. I have that day booked off just in case, tricky part will be convincing my sister to let me sleep over and extra night lol

I don't see a reason not to announce July or August shows now if they exist. Why wait 4-6 weeks after one tour announcement to make another? It just seems sloppy and inconsiderate of fans. Tons of bands can announce their entire tour at once.

I already said it and I will say it again: PJ haven't played a east- and a westcoast tour in a year without an album release since 1992. A westcoast leg won't be happening, period. They will do something for PJ25 and maybe there will be a couple shows somewhere, but there won't be a complete additional leg. There are no rumours that suggest it will happen and based on experience it is just highly unlikely.

My guess is a show or two added around stadium shows and then a west coast run. Can't see them adding this many dates.
That's only 30 cities added on...

I'm not sure why people think it's impossible for these guys to play 50+ shows in a year... a year after they took a break... a year in which they are celebrating 25 years... and a year in which they currently only have 4 shows outside of the eastern time zone scheduled, two festivals & Wrigley... Jeff ament said they had something planned for PJ25 but couldn't comment yet, and this has not been mentioned in this release...

I think it's crazy to think that more isn't coming, it's only January folks!

My guess has been 50+ shows, and I'm sticking to it! lol

    *** 100% speculation
