Just adding to this massive thread, my first post actually.
I can't wait to see PJ for my first time - one way or another, I'm checking that off the list in 2016!
If you have the time and the money, you should try to take a week and follow the band on a tour to see 3-4 shows in a row. Might as well jump into the deep end of the pool now as who knows how many tours they'll have left. Even if you travel alone you'll meet a bunch of fans at the pre-parties, and see some new places.
I see you are from Kitchener. That show was amazing in 2005.
Tomorrow is the first. Tomorrow is January. Pearl Jam is releasing tour dates in January. I'm happy it's January.
Although assumed, it is far from a given that they will release tour dates in Jan. We may only get Bonnarroo and/or Jazz Fest dates in the coming weeks.
1996: Toronto
1998: Barrie
2000: Saratoga Springs
2003: Buffalo, Toronto
2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto
2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1
2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla
2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon
2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4
2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford
2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton
2012: Missoula
2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC
I think the dates come out the first week of January or we are waiting until at least February. I see them announcing the tour but having the lottery reminder in the newsletter

I agree with this. Bonaroo 2008, Outside Lands and ACL 2009, Jazzfest 2010, Voodoo Fest 2013 and ACL 2014 were all announced separate from the rest of the tour.
If the April/May dates are still on, I think we get those in January. If the tour is now around Bonaroo, I think we get Bonaroo confirmation in January and the rest of the dates six weeks later.

Yeah, didn't Kelly say they we'll get SOME dates in the first part of the year? I know Jazz Fest usually announces in early/mid January. Doesn't Bonnaroo announce in late February?

Bonnaroo used to be in mid Feb, right around the time of the Grammy's. But last year, it was announced around the 2nd week of January, as was Gov Ball. Coachella almost always announces festivals first, mainly because the big acts have it in their contracts that they cannot announce another festival before the Coachella lineup is put out. And since there is so much competition now on the festival circuit, promoters are announcing their lineups sooner then ever.

Hell yeah, man! Seeing Pearl Jam live is like heroin. Just takes one time and you're hooked. Enjoy whatever show(s) you end up seeing!!
And like heroin it will take all your money and most people in your life won't understand why you can't just give it up.
I did the week long travel and did 4 shows in 2014 it was great and even though I did the trip by myself I was never alone. This year 2 1/2 weeks and 11 shows if the schedule holds true. It is a great experience. You would probably be able to arrange rides etc here on the boards, to cut down on costs.
Did I mention we may or may not all become pushers as well.
Anything you lose from being honest You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
I'm hoping they announce the PJ25 date WITH the rest of the tour....although I know I'm dreaming. I think they will wait for Roo to put out the lineup then put up the rest of the eastern tour. THEN put up PJ25.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
It's 2016 on the east coast...since PJ loves the east so much, where is the tour announcement?
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
Ok...2016 PJ time....tour announcement? Tweet? Where is that damn bird...

Absolutely do this! There is nothing like seeing back to back shows, you will be so hooked, and like bootlegger said, you don't know how many more opportunities you will get.
Euro tour '13, 3 shows in 6 days they played 71 different songs... Do that a few times and you will have spanned most of their catalog and there is no way to regret that!
I got the itch bad... Just watched the multi-cam from Detroit 2014. I haven't listened to that show since I was there, and it was a great fucking show. Need more of that in my life this year

Makes perfect sense to announce the same day/next day of the Bonnaroo announcement. Bonnaroo does "Roo Clues" giving clues about bands playing, the clues run out on Jan 8th judging based on the number of clues they did in past years. Week of Jan 10th makes so much sense.

+1 Kitchener show. The crowd was so loud in that smaller arena. Still one of the best concerts I've been to.
Those that can be trusted can change their mind.
