From a relative that works at Soldier Field, he said PJ on 7/4 at Soldier Field is booked

Any chance of a 2 night run there?
    :rock_on:
At a venue with a capacity of 67,000 for football games and probably more than that for concerts?? No.
Grateful Dead sold out three shows last summer and still had thousands of fans watching from the parking lot. I wouldn't doubt it if PJ could sell out back to back shows there.
Yes but weren't these their only shows that year? And their only shows in several years? And billed as their final shows? Huge difference!
They played some shows in California a swell, but yes other than those the shows in Chicago were it. True, i am not saying that PJ could duplicate that, but I think they could sell out two nights on a weekend. Especially after not going a US Tour in 2015. Granted Alpine valley sold out both nights for PJ20 (37k each night), that was in a small town in wisconsin, not the third largest city in the counrty. Just my opinion
Pretty sure night one was sold out but night two had about 8000 tickets to spare.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

I use PJ tours as excuses to see new towns and I've been to Chicago a dozen times so I'll skip it. I hope it make the other shows easier to get though.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Would if it is labeled as the "PJ25 Tour" and every show booked in 2016 has the logo of PJ25 logo rather than the recent Lightning Bolt logo and tour.

I hope so, I'm getting bored of the LB symbol. It's becoming a tad redundant for an album that came out almost 2 and half years ago
Redundant is such a great word.

Yeah, the announcement is inevitable. It has been rumored here for awhile, and this is probably just leaked information from a radio station. But it means concrete and official information is very close now!!

Neither night for pj20 was anywhere close to sold out. It was somewhere around 25,000-30,000 each night. Tons of unsold lawn tickets and there were ticket drops before the shows for pavilion seats both nights.

Tuesday or Thursday or Friday, could also be Monday or Wednesday. This week, next week or the week after that. Maybe later.

I can unequivocally confirm without a shadow of a doubt that the announcement will be made on a day that ends with the letter Y.

so... according to the forum tracker I haven't viewed the last 3.9k posts in this thread... I was down for the first 50 or so pages, but after that I gave up...

any updates, or are we still sitting around twiddling our thumbs waiting for that string of dates from Florida to Toronto to get announced in April/May?

    thanks.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the fact that they are other venues in Chicago... I think Soldier Field on the 4th would be great, with another 10 Club show at say the Vic some time over the weekend.

As someone that has seen them at Wrigley, Soldier Field and Alpine, Soldier Field feels like a perfect fit for PJ25.

As the years have passed since the VIC I realize more and more how special of a show that was and how lucky we all were to go that got chosen...I could see them doing that again as you suggested

Soldier Field for PJ25 would be epic and makes sense since its in the middle of the country

The Vic Bootleg is in my Top 5 of PJ shows.
The first 10 songs are incredible. So many gems. A Fanclub only PJ25 Concert in a small venue would be amazing!

    my prediction (wishful thinking)

    -Bonnaroo to start the tour
-Go south, all the way to Florida
-little break and then do some Northeast dates, all the way to Toronto
-2 day break and then maybe a Ten Club only show in Chicago
    -PJ25 in Soldier Field.

I think the spring tour is still a go. However I think only the Florida and Canada dates will be the same. Everything in between will be totally different from the original leaked dates. Although it sounds like the Philly dates will still be the same as well.

I hope Spring dates are still happening, too. If they decide to not open up seats behind stage, they could easily sellout 14,000-16,000 in each arena within two or three months.
