i emailed the live nation contact for the gorge to ask about seats and this was the response:

why, seriously WHY, would the person in charge, when asked about a group playing their venue then go to that band's website to see if they were playing there, the venue they supposedly are in charge of. I fully expected a stock-bs response from them but this actually surprised me to made me think theres a good chance of gorge '16..."hmm i checked on that band's website and i dont see anything there for my venue, because thats how i usually learn about concerts i sell tickets too, once its listed on the bands website"

I think its obvious that holds were put on both and then they decided on one. The issue is that some employees may be telling people about holds as official dates, but they could easily be mistaken if they are not high up the chain of command at their respective venue.

I know this very well could have already been posited before but could it be they were planning to announce today but saw that Bruce was announcing his tour as well so they decided to say fuck it and move the announcement to Monday out of respect for the Boss?
