As Sec of State she almost had to support it. You don't undercut your boss.

She is just aligning herself with most Democrats now.

she's doing damage control and trying to win back support from the people she's been lying to, she is a professional politician lying and hiding the truth come natural to these people.

hillary has the stigma of being in the bag for big money interests. her support of the agreement made it clear to most democrats that she is. her changing her support to me seems like pandering because all the dem candidates, aside from biden, oppose this piece of shit agreement.

Anybody else watching some of these live Benghazi hearings in the last hour--craziness. I still haven't read up yet on the whole story and all the details, but I feel bad for Hillary Clinton a bit. I guess you have to expect that type of extreme scrutiny when you're running for President though. I think she is handling herself very well against some of these narrow-minded, hothead Republicans--those ones that come off all snooty like they could do such a better job, yet have no idea how hard a job like Secretary of State can be. Its easy to sit on the sidelines and critique the game when you're not the one actually playing.

Badgering Hillary Clinton about nothing over and over again will play well to the conservative base but won't win over a single independent. This one included.

Hillary won the debate in a landslide, dodged the Biden bullet, and is now watching as Congressional Republicans eat their young. She has had a great couple of weeks.

Thought yesterday encapsulated the current state of American politics perfectly. A politician I dislike like was battered repeatedly by politicians I strongly dislike for purely partison reasons that have little to nothing to do with the stated goal of the hearing. This was an absolute farce perpetrated at our expense. These allegedly small government, allegedly fiscally conservative Republicans could have only wasted our money more clearly if they lit a bonfire with it inside the hearing room.

Hillary certainly won the battle. When the Drudge Report headline is about her coughing fit, then you can call it an unmitigated failure for the committee.

Losing their way? They've lost their way, since at least 2008 when McCain selected Sister Sarah as his running mate.

Imagine if R's focused on fiscal policy and making govt more efficient rather than all these National Inquirer headline subjects. Guessing they'd get few more votes.

Shit show vindictive attack politics is what hurts all the politicians.Once they play that card I look elsewhere.
Where is the focus studies asking independents such as myself what we are looking for.Fiscal conservatives who are socially more progressive.
They need our vote(both parties) to put them in office, but they all seem to dense to understand the harm the do to themselves in our eyes.
My wife votes pretty heavy with the Republicans but after this carnival she said if she was voting today it would be Hillary. That says a lot right there

I would call myself social liberal, fiscally moderate, internationally isolationist (within reason)..and no, there is definitely not a candidate on the right for me and no one even close. They can't get through the primary, it's that simple. There are lots of studies that show the GOP losing its share of the total electorate with indys, millenials, and Latinos. But they don't care. Just read the articles and comments on sites like Breitbart, National Review, Townhall, etc. and you will see that they are continuing to move further right.. to hell with general elections. The 'base' already hates Paul Ryan. They call him the 'Amnesty Speaker' already.

He would poll less than 5% in the primaries today. There is no place for someone like Ryan in the party. Anyone who is interested in governing rather than throwing bombs is a RINO.
I would intuitively think he's a social moderate, but since you aren't allowed to be a moderate in the party, we really have no idea.

What is hilarious to me is the hype that the right wing put on that hearing. They beat the drum like the GOP is going to tear Hillary to shreds and then they come across like a bunch of absolute morons. The right wing press is in a real bind trying to salvage any victory out of the hearing.

Hillary absolutely trashed them and she looked Presidential in the process.

The focus on Sidney Blumenthal's emails is a joke. The entire GOP narrative about "unanswered questions" is even more laughable.
