i was in line the other day and some random guy ask the guy in front of me what's everyone lining up for and he says " for pearl jam posters " the random looks confused and ask what do you do with them and his exact response was " there a bunch of things you can do, you can resell them, there a hot hot commodity "

i snapped a picture of him as he's on eBay looking up the market on these posters.

    some people have no shame.

Why? It's not illegal. 10C doesn't even try to stop it. If anything it helps them, which is why all these things are a mess.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

    Ames Bros Poster Update:

Due to a technical error on our website, we sold more of the PJ NYC metallic gold poster than planned. Your order will be shipped in full and the profits from oversold posters will go directly to the Vitalogy Foundation.

    Thank you.

They printed a ton more of stickers, so don't worry. It's the pins that are limited now. Not so many of those.

The hats they were handing out behind the counter at one per person. I wanted to get some for other members but couldn't (sorry all).

They seem to have a full run of shirts this time which was good. No XL Mets style shirts though.

If you can pick up the Cops style shirt. Proceeds go to the NYPD charity. Forgot which one though.

Somebody should buy a bunch more stickers and send them to the people looking on LD for cost.

Wish I had got more for those looking, sorry!

If they really want to sell out those 2 prints & make a lot of mula, have a crew go down to Central Park and start selling them on a few street corners. I'm sure they won't have a problem selling all those prints. Best time to do this? Probably after Pearl Jam's set is over when everyone is heading home. ;)

These is so much NY-centric sites that could have made cool poster, but the artist choose a bull skull. WTF? Only 1 of the 4 were NYC centric. (3 of the 4 were Wrigley / Chicago centric). Ames stuff always sells regardless.

No, I actually believe this, lol but the two D's haven't made it official yet, Demetrios & Dimitrius haven't posted.
  • Questions:

    1) If I get there at 12 today, how long do you think it will take to get through the line, buy my merchandise (2 shirts) and get out?

    2) Will there be XL shirts left at that time or will they be sold out before I get through.

Trying to judge if its worth my time to even try. Meeting people around 2 for the show.

I know someone who has been in line since about 8 and they don't open until 11. They texted me a photo and there are probably 15-20 people ahead of them.

Skipping the pop-up today - went to Guggenheim Mueseum instead, to check out some classic posters by Monet - Renoir and Van Gogh. :)

Oh snap, after checking out the museum, my wife and I wandered over to the park and saw PJ play 6-7 songs and met Mike and Jeff. :)
