Just a reminder the 3 things gs that would change this country dramatically:
1) term limits on ALL politicians. From county council and mayors to senators and congressman. Including changing the presidential term to one 6 year term.
2)Eliminate the party system completely. You run based on your own principles and beliefs. And based on how much money you and your team can earn. Which coincides with the third and most important change:
3) true campaign finance. This means that any candidate can only spend X amount on any given campaign. From something like $25k for a mayoral run up to $5 million for a presidential run. The reason this would work is because if a presidential candidate is only going to run once (with one 6 year term) there is no need to have lobbyist donating $20 million to a campaign. They can only spend $5mil. This should eliminate lobbyist completely.0 -
