If you are someone planning to vote Democrat in 2016, happenings on Martha's Vineyard this past weekend are further proof that your choice has already been made for you.

EDGARTOWN, Mass. — As Joe Biden considers a run for president, the donors he’d need to be viable appear to be ruling him out.

the problem is, Biden is unelectable. Somehow, over the past 8 years he has been portrayed as a clueless bozo (he is not). I think it is one of those things said enough times it becomes reality.
How does this explain the opposite reaction for trump.
The current GOP is resigned to the possibility of nominating a clueless bozo. If not Trump then somebody else.

Not true Jimmy. Both Bush and Kasich are bright guys with a very work across the isle way of thinking. Both have shown to vote the issue ,not party platform when needed.Dont lump everyone of them together.

Not exactly, there are at least as many whi dislike him as like him. He is a very polarizing figure, and he only draws the voters who always vote. The strategy for winning is getting youth and minority voters to the polls, they have lower turnouts, and have a greater effect on the end result.
If you think Trump can pull that segment of votes, I have a bridge for sale on Craig's list you should check it out.

Yeah, fair enough. it is true that not all 17 are clueless bozos. I do think the percentage of clueless bozos is higher than it should be, though.

Honestly I find myself liking Christie more and more.

Only problem with that is Christie is anti Marajauna reform"the pot party is over" is his quote. That to me is very closed minded and worries me.

Not ALL. There was this guy Jack Layton in Canada. He lead the NDP Party. He was a truly amazing individual (and had been party leader for a long time, so there weren't any lurking surprises there).... but then, just as he was about to finally win the federal election and take Harper out, he died suddenly of cancer (which he'd already beaten once some years before). I am still so sad about it. He was a once in a lifetime politician. :frowning: But generally, yeah, they're all just awful.

What's your problem with her? I'm honestly curious about what it could be about her that you can't stand.
