No I can not see a separation of races since the President took office. The issue of race is ingrained in the history of American society and Obama taking office isn't separating it any further than it already is. What it is doing is bringing the issue of race to the forefront more than if the president was of another race. The sentiment of separation races since taking office is a myth....

I find contradictions between these assumptions and the reality we live in today.
