Sometimes I wish there was a reality show all about people who are squirming under intense scandal that's leading to criminal charges. First episode could maybe star the lion killing dentist and Jared the Subway Sandwich guy...... Could be satisfying to just watch them freaking out for what they did.

Karla Homulka (sp?) apparently lives a super normal life now, married with kids and everything, and she raped and murdered girls, including her own little sister, and was one of the biggest international news stories of her day. I read up on this now and while it appears from the outside things are 'normal' I just don't believe it really is for her or ever will be.

Hopefully it was done with the victims in mind, and with their blessings.

I don't know why they did it in this case specifically, but I imagine that both sides just wanted to get this done and over with. The prosecutor may want to protect the victims from having to testify and be cross examined, and the defense just wants it over with, since they likely know they can't win based on the case that was built.

At 15 years old what happened to this boy would have literally been a dream come true for me. I wasn't innocent, I wasn't naive, I wouldn't be a victim. Some 15 year olds would be, but at 15 I was as much of a man as I was at 18.
The law is the law and she broke it, consequences must be had.
I just wonder if it is "wrong" in a moral sense. In some cases it obviously is, in others, I really wonder.
