Everyone knows the C is for Charleston and Columbia. Back to back. Like MSG '03. Duh.
IF we're dreaming... let's go BIG and hit the Ohio Trifecta, Cleveland, Columbus & Cincinnati!!!
I just drove through 4 hours of Ohio and stayed there last weekend. There's no way pearl jam wants to go there. Ed texted me and said "what's an Ohio"?
I hope they announce soon! Everyone is pretty sure it's going to be the Global Citizens Festival in New York. I think it'd be so cool if there was a little more than that! It is a really great cause though. Personally I would like them to also put out a 2014 tour video boot! Even better a video of all of them telling stories about being on the road for the last 25 years! That would be fucking awesome!!!!!

Since PJ was last in Cleveland, LeBron left for Miami, won 2 finals, and returned to Cleveland for a season. Cmon PJ, it's time to come back to the Land.

Global Citizen will not allow them to headline a show show close to the festival. Now a warm up date in say Toronto or that kind of distance is a different story. Or maybe a surprise show at a much much smaller location in NYC. Or EV solo dates. Those could happen.

Global is free... why would restrict bands from playing other shows? They are not paying the artists so i highly doubt they would have that kind of power

You could be right but we won't know unless you cite your source.

In not saying I have inside info. Just saying that's what I expect. Typically festivals don't let headliners play headline shows in a certain radius within a certain amount of days. That is not uncommon. My other guesses are just guesses at what else the band can do.
And since Global Citizen added the page for Ed shows it's not crazy.

I agree. The show is free. Festival won't lose revenue if PJ plays geographical close to Central Park. They could play a week at MSG from sept 19-25th and it wouldn't effect Global citizens.

I really hope once the Global Festival is announced in a few days, that the 10c comes out says if it will be PJ's only North American show this year so everyone can put the rumors to rest.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

The ten club does not do that, it would be too logical. They only announce what is happening.

You're right. They did this in 2007 for Lolla, 2009 for the west coast dates (after much complaining after announcing Europe, Toronto, Chicago one at a time), 2012 for Missoula nd after the 2013 Voodoo Fest and 2014 ACL announcements.
I think best-case is we get a show or two the week prior to Global Citizen (like London/Wrigley).

i personally think the rumors and rampant speculation are always fun!
Give me a Saturday night show at MSG, and Kathy and I will go spend a weekend in NYC. I still haven't gotten my proper corned beef on rye, with a bowl of soup. Plus I still need to see the Statue of Liberty. Wel,l I saw it last year, but I was still 3 miles away from it. Hopefully I can get a little closer this time around! Hahaha
Don't forget to walk around with the big map and take selfies infront of everything oh and nothing says nyc like times square with creepy characters wanting pics.

Whatever happened with that bet that dude made? Did he lose?
He admitted to trolling. He should just donate the monetary equivalent of whatever Avocado is going for on ebay to OYR. It would be a decent gesture.
Oh come on... The guy was just being a little silly....
He Was Being A SmartAss And Got Called On It But I Will Forgive Him If PJ AnnounceS The MSG Shows. Otherwise He's Got To Pay up
He has to pay up? For being goofy on a Pearl Jam forum? I have read all the comments involving this little so called bet, and I find it amusing that certain people are calling for this guys head on a platter. Give me a break.
He was being silly, maybe even obnoxious, but so what.
Don't you know vinyl is like water around, it's precious.
