Why stop at 1948? Why not tal hei or the Hebron massacre?
Todays news is about the worldwide media trusting the word of a terror organization that’s on the same level as ISIS.
The parking lot was hit, and it is clear that there is no crater. That photo was posted on this thread a few times. A missile from a long distance detonating on impact would leave an obvious sign.
There is also video showing the missed going up and coming down, all geoloated within gaza. I don't have that handy, but this link below is supposedly proof of Hamas admitting it wasn't Israel.
Which is all besides the point, which was the western media organizations all took the word of a terrorist organization without verification.

Actually a number of western media outlets I read reported that both sides claimed the other was responsible including reports that the explosion may have been caused by an errant rocket fired by the Jihad. Where did you get that they all blamed the Israelis? Here?
lol not here. I took a much needed time out for a few days
BBC came out first and many outlets ran with their story. I recommend reading the reddit comments for perspective as the story changed dramatically
..
https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/s/2XVaGxqU6MAsked on BBC Radio Four Today Programme if he was willing to submit the IDF’s evidence to an independent body for investigation, he said: “That’s a ridiculous question. I just wanted to point out that when Hamas says something, you quote them endlessly and no evidence is required.
“However, when Israel comes forward and says something, you ask, ‘where’s the evidence’?”
The incident is among a string of events when the BBC and its journalists have refused to refer to Hamas as a terrorist organisation whilst reporting the groups attack on Israel.
Six reporters have also been placed under investigation over activity on social media platforms that appeared to endorse or support activities against Israel attributed to Hamas.

Didn't know about or read the BBC article, but yeah, NY Time jumped the gun. This is why more and more I read AP or Reuters for news. I still read TY Times and Guardian, but less for political and international news, more for cultural things or sometimes commentary (not to be confused with "news").Bottom line, as always: "You can't believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see." And, of course, always good to be skeptical and use critical thinking- two things that more and more seem to be lacking."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

Palestinian health ministry says an estimated 200 to 300 people killed in Israeli strike on hospital in Gaza
Key operative words, “he thinks.” Brandon doesn’t “know.” Regardless of who committed the act, it’s horrible.
The “info” is still in question, isn’t it?
This whole conflict is full of bad. I wish we would go back to banning books and start with every religions holy book.
As far as I can tell, I’m the only one willing to blame both sides while pointing out I’m opposed to religious fanaticism and terrorism, whether conducted by terrorists, Hamas and/or Islamic Jihad or governments, Israel and US. Further, I think I’m the only one who has offered a solution as unrealistic as it may be. Some on here want you to believe that Israel is somehow morally superior when they clearly are not and have a lot, and I mean a lot of blood on their hands. But they seem to get a pass because why, exactly? Moral superiority? If the pro-Israel crowd can’t acknowledge the atrocities committed by Israel, then they’re in denial and devoid of solutions.
No comment on the thousands of INNOCENT Palestinians currently being killed by Israel and US tax dollars in the name of “Israel is defending itself?” No comment on how Israel’s current actions may lead to a much wider conflict? What is the cost to Palestinians? Ten for every Israeli killed? Fifteen? Twenty? A thousand?
Im sure Hamas is firing rockets into Israel because of folks like me and not because of Israeli treatment of Palestinians within Israel and the occupied territories. I’m sure of it. I’ve been following this conflict since pre-junior high days and nothing has changed. Hell, I remember the 72 Olympics. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. And unfortunately, I won’t see peace in the ME in my lifetime.
Unlike some, I can differentiate between terrorists and a people and I can even remove the religion from the equation but I guess that makes me an anti-Semite, right?09/15/1998 & 09/16/1998, Mansfield, MA; 08/29/00 08/30/00, Mansfield, MA; 07/02/03, 07/03/03, Mansfield, MA; 09/28/04, 09/29/04, Boston, MA; 09/22/05, Halifax, NS; 05/24/06, 05/25/06, Boston, MA; 07/22/06, 07/23/06, Gorge, WA; 06/27/2008, Hartford; 06/28/08, 06/30/08, Mansfield; 08/18/2009, O2, London, UK; 10/30/09, 10/31/09, Philadelphia, PA; 05/15/10, Hartford, CT; 05/17/10, Boston, MA; 05/20/10, 05/21/10, NY, NY; 06/22/10, Dublin, IRE; 06/23/10, Northern Ireland; 09/03/11, 09/04/11, Alpine Valley, WI; 09/11/11, 09/12/11, Toronto, Ont; 09/14/11, Ottawa, Ont; 09/15/11, Hamilton, Ont; 07/02/2012, Prague, Czech Republic; 07/04/2012 & 07/05/2012, Berlin, Germany; 07/07/2012, Stockholm, Sweden; 09/30/2012, Missoula, MT; 07/16/2013, London, Ont; 07/19/2013, Chicago, IL; 10/15/2013 & 10/16/2013, Worcester, MA; 10/21/2013 & 10/22/2013, Philadelphia, PA; 10/25/2013, Hartford, CT; 11/29/2013, Portland, OR; 11/30/2013, Spokane, WA; 12/04/2013, Vancouver, BC; 12/06/2013, Seattle, WA; 10/03/2014, St. Louis. Dude chill, I didn't call you an anti-Semite. And I am talking 1 specific incident and your willingness to believe 1 thing and then hold onto that belief when it appears more and more evidence seems to point to something very different.
Nevermind. Cause you are right about a few things for sure about the Israeli response. I don't think there will ever be peace in the middle east. And while you say you can separate religion....that region can't.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Yea, Nevermind. OMG, somebody disagrees with me! Oh the horror.
The thing that strikes me is if Cambodia, South Africa, the Hutsis and Tutsis, Japan/Germany and US can reconcile after atrocities committed by both sides, why can’t the Israelis and Palestinians?09/15/1998 & 09/16/1998, Mansfield, MA; 08/29/00 08/30/00, Mansfield, MA; 07/02/03, 07/03/03, Mansfield, MA; 09/28/04, 09/29/04, Boston, MA; 09/22/05, Halifax, NS; 05/24/06, 05/25/06, Boston, MA; 07/22/06, 07/23/06, Gorge, WA; 06/27/2008, Hartford; 06/28/08, 06/30/08, Mansfield; 08/18/2009, O2, London, UK; 10/30/09, 10/31/09, Philadelphia, PA; 05/15/10, Hartford, CT; 05/17/10, Boston, MA; 05/20/10, 05/21/10, NY, NY; 06/22/10, Dublin, IRE; 06/23/10, Northern Ireland; 09/03/11, 09/04/11, Alpine Valley, WI; 09/11/11, 09/12/11, Toronto, Ont; 09/14/11, Ottawa, Ont; 09/15/11, Hamilton, Ont; 07/02/2012, Prague, Czech Republic; 07/04/2012 & 07/05/2012, Berlin, Germany; 07/07/2012, Stockholm, Sweden; 09/30/2012, Missoula, MT; 07/16/2013, London, Ont; 07/19/2013, Chicago, IL; 10/15/2013 & 10/16/2013, Worcester, MA; 10/21/2013 & 10/22/2013, Philadelphia, PA; 10/25/2013, Hartford, CT; 11/29/2013, Portland, OR; 11/30/2013, Spokane, WA; 12/04/2013, Vancouver, BC; 12/06/2013, Seattle, WA; 10/03/2014, St. Louis. I often cringe a bit when I get their "jumping the gun" news updates. And it's not just them. Apparently, few journalists today have read chapter 7, "Now... This" in this book:mace1229 said:FiveBelow said:It seems our current form of journalism has placed a much higher importance on being the first to report, rather than waiting more than 2 minutes to vet the information they spew. the fact that we have 70 million people that voted for trump and would gladly do so again without question is proof enough that this nation is full of psychopaths.
To tell you the truth, sometimes I think the whole world has lost it's marbles. Except maybe the Fijians. I know people who have lived there and they sound like the really have their shit together- and a big part of that is that they don't get hung up about wanting to have a lot of shit. Their relationships and enjoying life are far more important than stuff.Yeah, come to think of it, I know a young couple who lived in Sweden for a few years a liked it a lot except for having a hard time finding a place to live.I wish all places could be happy places. Here's something from Heather Cox-Richardson that sounds hopeful anyway:
“There are two very different visions for the future and what the Middle East can and should be,” Blinken said today. The U.S. stands behind a vision “that has countries in the region normalizing their relations, integrating, working together in common purpose, and upholding and bringing forth the rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people.”The other vision is the one Hamas embraces: “a vision of death, of destruction, of nihilism, of terrorism. That’s a vision that does nothing to advance aspirations for Palestinians, that does nothing to help create better futures for people in the region, and does everything to bring total darkness to everyone that it’s able to affect.”
The visions are clear, Blinken said. He said he had no doubt that the overwhelming majority of people in the region would choose the first if given the chance. So it is the responsibility of “all of us who believe in that first path…to make it real, to bring it to light, to make it a clear, affirmative choice. And that’s what we’re determined to do…. If we do that, everyone in this region will be in a much better place and so will the rest of the world.”
sure, we are not the happiest place in Earth to live..the most beautiful place in the world??..99%..
and also we know how to live life..but why you mention Greece??..
are you obsessed??..
beautiful? of course. I'd love to visit one day. live there? FUCK NO
is it ever possible to compare your country with mine??..not in a thousand years..lol..you speak a language from another country which is 30% Greeks..lol..

Israel defending itself.
Wife and two children of Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief killed in airstrike, network says
Return to menuFor more than two weeks, Wael Dahdouh has been the steady face of news out of Gaza for Al Jazeera Arabic viewers.
On Wednesday night, he broke down over the bloodied corpse of one of his two children who, along with his wife, were killed in an Israeli strike on their home in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, the Qatari-owned news channel said.
The Israeli military said it was “checking on” the reports.
