When you work in corporate and in the public eye you represent the company at all times. But I've only written that twice...

Here is my 2 cents...Not that you want to hear it.

Ms. Espn went in to the towing company and had a "moment." Her behavior was rude, obnoxious, and uncalled for. No doubt. Once the towing company realized that she is indeed some sort of celebrity, they decided to go public with the video. That's the world we live in now. Cameras everywhere, and everyone's personal business, is now out there for the world to see or hear. That's fine and dandy, as long as the towing company is prepared for their business to now be exploited for the world to see. Right? Only fair. Now the world knows that this company is graded F by the business bureau, has multiple lawsuits pending, has been accused of predatory practices, etc.

Was the towing company prepared for this backlash? Did they not realize releasing this tape would maybe cause them a few headaches? My belief is the towing company issued the statement asking for no punishment be handed out to Ms. Espn for one reason, and only one reason. They are now trying to make themselves look better in some way, maybe look like they are taking the high road, in hope that this story will soon disappear.

And as far as Ms. Espn being fired over this matter? If this were to happen I would think its total nonsense. This was a conversation, although a despicable act on her part, that should have remained private. This type of behavior is going on right NOW in some towing companies office. Somebody somewhere is giving a towing company a piece of their mind. Its the nature of the towing industry? People are angry, their car has been towed, they are pissed, they are saying things they shouldn't. Its the heat of the moment. Yet their behavior wont be televised for the world to see.

Now as far as our behavior being put out their on the world wide internet? Its the world we live in. I have seen the EXACT same people here who are calling for Ms. ESPN to be fired, come on this very board and discuss their drug habits, their alcohol habits, their rude obnoxious behavior towards family members. How would these same people like their place of employment to read some of these comments? They wouldn't! Yet they come here knowing they cant vent, without having to worry. Though I am sure they realize their words are out here, on the world wide internet, for everyone to read.

I guess now I am just rambling.

They should lose their jobs too because they're telling someone to go fuck themselves? The scenarios are endless.

What you say is fair enough, however, don't be too selective with your criticism of the way people operate here. At least try to look at what prompted such responses before dismissing them as 'unwarranted'.

That makes no sense. You can personally attack her because she is a semi celebrity but that doesn't make you judgemental at all? I'm not defending this broads actions. I'm saying she shouldn't be fired over what she said. I don't know if you work or not, but to the vast majority of us who do work, being fired IS a big deal. It's not just a job. But you are so quick to decide the fate of somebody that you don't know based on a one sided argument you saw. Then accuse some of us of only defending her because she's not ugly.
