I wonder if you hate her because she IS beautiful. Would you be calling her skank if she was a 300 ogre?backseatLover12 said:You seem awful defensive at the notion last12… which makes one wonder.

And the girl at the desk was rude and demeaning as well. She is the face of her company. Why aren't you so passionately calling for her dismissal?backseatLover12 said:Do you understand that when you work especially in the public eye, that you are representing your company at all times? Ever wonder why workplaces look at Facebook profiles of their employees? Twitter profiles? This chick the public face of ESPN and this makes them look bad. They may merely suspend her and tell her not to act like her spoiled and nasty self publicly again and let her have her job, fine. But the public already knows what a skank she is.

This last couple posts doesn't sound like this guy from page 2…
But tge shit she said, in my opinion, was not simply the result of a bad moment or day. Tye shit she said came from a place of entitlement and downright brattiness. Kt is part of what is wrong with humanity and how our children behave (shaming others for their weight, looks, or social economic class). I don't give a shit who she is (i didnt actually know until this very thread), what she did deserves public shaming. I dont care if she loses her job, but if I were her bosses, i certainly would can her ass. She single handedly alienated a massive portion of their viewership, and in the process ruining their brand. Possibly losing major sponsors if they dont act quickly.
You sound defensive as well. And for the record? Yeah, the other worker is just as guilty… but she's not the face of ESPN and the public eye.
Its part of being in the public eye. You represent a brand and a huge investment of money for a lot of people. People like her know this, but she chose to act like a twat anyway because she obviously thinks she is above reproach. That type of baggage is not something most companies would keep their wagon hitched to.Post edited by backseatLover12 on0 -

If she was working and acted like this... fire her. She acted poorly on her own time. She's entitled to her own time.
Hugh's comment was right on the nail head: this girl's looks have the 'fired up crew' (which isn't very many by the way)... fired up."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
I have to laugh because, really, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I only bring all this up because one or two of you did talk about how this reporter is "hot". My point is that whether she is or isn't "hot" has nothing to do with what the issue is here. Personally, I find her far more irritating than attractive. But whether pretty, hot, gorgeous, average, ugly, or whatever, so what? It's the reporters actions that count, not whether she is cute or ugly or whatever. And to me her actions speak volumes.
And, am I mistaken? Some here have mentioned she was fired but the OP's link merely stated she was suspended. If that's true, I'd say she's luck to still have a job."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
And by the way, I find it interesting (that's putting it mildly) that some of you refer to another person here as "bi-polar" and "out of your mind". You don't know that.

Her looks didn't even occur to me until you all mentioned it. Makes no difference. It's just the behaviour.
If the tow truck driver was acting the same way then she should be fired as well. I just didn't hear any of what she said. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
Has she made any official apologize ? What made her so angry saying those nasty things ? One can't judge someone before knowing the whole story but what she said tells a whole lot about her and the way she thinks.Post edited by Annafalk on0

First of all it's not right how she spoke to the attendant.
Secondly, she made her apology and let's not act like people aren't entitled to a "bad day." No one on this board hasn't said things they don't regret...and if you say you haven't, you're most likely lying...lol.
Lastly, no one knows how she was spoken to because the Tow Company has conveniently "sold" only part of the video. People are labeling McHenry as a spoiled, stuck up bitch yet, no one knows how she was spoken to. Go online and read the reviews of the tow company...McHenry isn't the first to have a run in like this and do your self a favor, go back before the 18th of April and read those reviews...from the reviews, the attendants aren't the most pleasant people and in fact seem to have a little bit of a racket going attempting to steal peoples credit card numbers, double charge people $135 by saying that some cards don't work...
Let's not act like McHenry is speaking towards this person "unprevoked"...when we don't know the whole story...
The fact that she got suspended for that...lol...just shows the pussification of this country continues...people calling for her to be fired...LMAO. Stupid.Post edited by JV130312 onI Know All The Rules But The Rules Do Not Know Me.0 -

Lose her job? For talking like a douche when she's not working? If she was working and said something that was way out of bounds, I could get behind that mentality. She loses it and becomes mean spirited while living her private life.
Did you ever see the Chris Berman outake where he ripped some guy for walking by the camera while they were recording? He was even working then. What about people who finger people while driving? They should lose their jobs too because they're telling someone to go fuck themselves? The scenarios are endless.
We don't just fire people to teach them a lesson because, as one person said, 'it's just a job, sheesh'. Just a job? Just a job?? Wish I could think of my household's bloodline so flippantly.
She never represented ESPN poorly... she represented herself poorly. Yes... she was nasty, but that's the extent of it.
