    Also, I'm predicting "The Fixer" makes an appearance on the setlist. Came up on my shuffle today and was reminded of how great of a festival song it is. Catchy, short and fun... ideal for festivals.

    VIP has a totally separate entrance from the 2 GA entrances, you should be fine.
    VIP still have to wait in outside line no? Just don't remember there being a separate line for that but I could be totally wrong! They should get a different entrance for paying for sure....That line blows and I'm not looking forward to being in it...lol

    My luck turned a corner yesterday and I actually got a "You've won" email. Now comes the tough part of lining up transportation and a place to stay! Thinking of taking my son for his first concert experience, but also thinking it may be a bad time to do so with all that is going on in the city and how hectic things could be. If anyone has a reasonable hotel reservation that they don't think they will be able to use anymore let me know! I'm sure I'll have a great story or two when I get back home, that is for sure!

    Can't wait to find a nice comfortable spot in the middle or at the back of the VIP2 pen and just relax to some music.

    No problem! I usually park myself in the West line, as it's a tiny bit less hectic from the East line, where people who are more adamant about being front row will be. Both of the years I went, I ended up in the same spot, funny enough. Front/2nd 'row' of the first pen behind VIP 3. Great experiences!

    what you said! vip 2'er here as well. would rather be near the back and have more space than be crammed in the front for a tiny bit better of a view lol.

    First year around 11:30/noon, 2nd year quite late, just got in line and immediately went in around 2/2:30. Didn't go last year. Totally depends on the line-up and the line-ups fan bases. I have a feeling those times won't hold true for that spot this year seeing who is playing.

    first year we walked right in at 2, second year waited about 1/2 hour to get in, last we waited over an hour and we were at least 4 blocks away from the entrance to the park. We got in line about 1. Every year I was in the exact same spot. Last year I could have been a little closer if I wanted to go walking around for an open spot but opted to just stay basically in the same place b/c it isn't too crowded.
