Haha...good point. I'm just going off the announcement.

We are excited to announce Pearl Jam will headline the Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s historic Central Park on September 26th. It will be the band’s only North American show date for all of 2015.

The cause they are advocating is unattainable ... may as well be advocating for the mass production of hover boards.

That may be wrong, some people posted last year VIP was $700-$1500. That may just be tier one though.

It looks like my only chance might be VIP. I have been a Global Citizen since its inception, so I have a good deal of points, all obtained without having Facebook or Twitter accounts. These daily actions require sending out tweets.

    Oh well.

10club, can we get some clarification if PJ is "headlining" this event or just one of the "headliners".
That might make a difference for some of us if we want to attend or not.

It should not be a bummer. No one has to pay anything for tickets if they don't want to. Everyone should go into this realizing that it's a festival, and there are 4 headliners. I'd be esctatic if they go 90 minutes, but am expecting 60 minutes at most.

So VIP2 looks to be $175 and VIP3 looks to be $150? Anyone know about VIP1? Is it going to be around the $750 people have been saying it was last year?

To me this smells like Pearl Jam wanting to be called a headliner and Beyonce wanting to go on last.

Remember when Kanye wanted to go on last at Bonnaroo? Cue up encore 3!
