I didn't think I would like JayZ last year and I had a blast. The energy was phenomenal. I'll be shocked if he doesn't come out at some point (unless hes booked somewhere else). PJ sharing a stage with a few of these peeps would be cool. If your pigeonholed into one type of music or band thats your issue. They make the lineup so it appeals to all different types of people to draw a huge diverse crowd. Enjoy the day for what it is.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

i hate festivals, but if pearl jam is playing in a city a half hour from me i am going. i don't plan on standing there for 7 hours, but any chance to see my favorite band i'll take it no matter who else is playing, even if i don't like them. i'd much rather see them in a stadium or arena, but take what you can get.

Stinks I couldn't use the 187 points I already had, but it was a quick process to enter the draw. Here's to hoping! This event has always been a blast.

Also, the 10c email said 'Pearl Jam to headline,' so I read that as PJ gets the closing spot. Hopefully that's correct!

Maybe we'll get a 99 Problems round 2 since Beyonce (and probably Jay-Z) will be there?

this was under the FAQ on global citizen...

What are the set times or order the Artists are playing?
We will not be releasing set times, or the order of Artists. With the amazing lineup, get there early to enjoy the whole show!

    Bullshit
It's not about the music it's about the cause. Just deal with it and go if you want or just watch online at home if you don't want to wait outside.

Can't believe they already leaked the setlist...

    Small Town
    Courdoroy
    Given to Fly
    Even Flow
    Daughter
    some acoustic cover about poverty
    Last Kiss
    Better Man
    Alive
    Rockin in the Free World

You would think that Eddie would do Imagine as well being Central Park. Unless you consider this the "some acoustic cover about poverty"?

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Oh, and Ed will do Setting Forth with Eddie... And maybe Chris Martin will jump in on Even Flow???

I would pay extra for this NOT to happen.

On the Ticketmaster page for the VIP tickets, they had "$150-$175" under Price Range. I'm just assuming that's how it'll be but I'm not sure.

Not a fan of Ed's version of Imagine. I love greatest hits sets tho (unlike most here) so wouldnt Evenflow be a little more appropriate? Win-win.

Maybe, but i definitely think itll be mainly slow songs. Itll be greatest hits, but Better Man, Black, Sirens instead of Even Flow, Go and Corduroy

I've always said that contentwise "Evenflow" is just Pearl Jam's version of "Aqualung."

But I think they've attained the musicianship by now for an "Aqualung" cover. C'mon guys! Do it!

Special guest appearance by Ron Burgundy on flute!

holy shit, they moved mexico out of north america?!!!
Haha...good point. I'm just going off the announcement.

We are excited to announce Pearl Jam will headline the Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s historic Central Park on September 26th. It will be the band’s only North American show date for all of 2015.

i wasnt having a dig at you.. its ironic pearl jam is urging us to become "global citizens" while not even knowing mexico is in north america too
it's ironic or just a simple mistake? Some of you really do love to complain or point out something wrong.
