I was into them back in the Ten & Vs days but then dropped away at about Vitalogy until I hear Into the Wild last year then bought Backspacer & went to the tour wich was what realy sold me I guess.

I mostly meant coz of the 11 year gap to coming here.

In 1995, did Brisbane have a separate poster or was there just one poster for all of the Aussie tour? I can't remember.

I can't even find a fucking photo online of it.....I can find 95 NZ/Japan though.
Pretty sure it's just that poster for the whole tour. It's the only thing I want so much. Never saw it at the gig :(

Isn't it? But I need it for my collection. I just have a hard time justifying USD$300 for it!

I'm still upset that my parents didn't wake me up to go to a bonfire party aged ten - they thought I would be better staying asleep. This year I'm going to take myself to the biggest bonfire party ever, and set my own alarm!!

I was really lucky at the 95 & 98 concerts... i was only 14 / 17 & was SO into Pearl Jam but couldn't go on my own... an older cousin of mine took me along with him... i could never even begin to repay him for that!!! :D
When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do...

    Pearl Jam - Adelaide: 1995, 1998, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2014

my older cousin and her hubby took my then 16 year old cousin and her mates - they only lived in wanganui which is a 2.5 hour drive north from wellington (not that i could drive then... but you know...)

a year or so later when my older cousin realised how sad i was that i'd missed out on the concerts she said "oh you could have taken my spot in the car, i don't even like them"...

    *grinds teeth*

though to be fair to my parents..

    a. 14? auckland? yeah. i wouldn't have let me go either. and after seeing footage of said shows, holy shit! i would have been smushed.

    and

    b. i would have been too pussy to go by myself...

    and

    c. pearl jam had been my favourite band for approximately 2 months when the tour was announced - they didn't know that 16 years later they'd still be a part of the family and missing out would still sting

and 98.. well. i was just fucking lucky they played wellington or i might have missed out.. though i doubt it. someone would have driven up to auckland.

thanks for playing wellington in 98 pearl jam! when my stupid friend left her ticket at home and didn't realise til we got there it wasn't a drama for me... she just went home to get it and i happily didn't.

i thought it kept selling out... i don't want it, but thought someone else might have missed out.

    i've just watched snl again.

the end makes me uncomfortable when stone is dancing by himself with a puppet on the edge of the crowd

why is no one talking to him?

    is it the puppet?

    i'm worried.
