There is no hatchet to bury. We are having a discussion. We are two different type of people. I don't think I would like to be around you and you probably don't want to hang around with me. That's ok though, people are different, if we were all the same and had the same views then can you imagine what a boring planet this would be. I don't wish you any ill will by any means.

What I do not appreciate is the rush to tell someone to F*** off. There is no reason for that….ever.

    1. PRINT MORE

    2. Sell leftovers in the store as add-on items

    3. For the next tour, post the design of the city specific stuff and let any member attending the show (not just 10C tix) pre-order the shirt/sticker/pin and pick up a packet at the show.

I like the idea of a pre-show merch package for everyone attending.

merch pack would be a nice offer -- doesn't even need to be at the show but could be delivered later -- would certainly cut down on the merch lines and maybe allow people to enjoy the preparties a little longer. At the show may be somewhat difficult since 10 club has a tough enough job getting everyone's tickets sorted out in the first place ( i can only imagine the delays for people saying they ordered something and didn't get it the day of the show).

fair enough... i guess what i do not appreciate is the rush to judge peoples intentions. i obviously didnt know what i was getting myself into by responding to what i saw as simple requests from other fans. these tours thrive largely because of the thousands of people who travel from city to city. and many of these people trade, share, help one another along the way-with rides, hotels, herbs, merchandise- whatever they may need. pearl jam is the definition of a touring band. I wish i had a Sticker Oak, i could pass them out to everyone...

My biggest merch bummer so far was Wrigley Field where we opted out of spending hours and hours in a merch line and enjoyed the day instead. Then the next day it was a little weird to see lots of people who haven't even been to the show having all kinds of merch. Yes, it would be nice to have first dibs when you are actually attending the show. Yes, stickers and posters and merch are just "stuff", but especially if you have been there and enjoyed the show, it is nice to have a little keepsake.

This lady behind me in the St. Louis merch line, this very second, told me she is buying 100 stickers, 60 pins & 10 shirts for her friend in NJ... for eBay. This is for real and not to start something. Don't shoot the messenger.

Buy them all before her. Fuck her friend.

Honestly though, tapeworm and I could use a couple stickers if it isn't too much trouble.

Why not just charge an extra $1-2 per ticket, then everyone gets a sticker on their way in when they scan your ticket. Easy... Simple... If you don't want it, then give it to your kids or trade/ sell it. Whatever you want.

This is what I mean about limiting these early merch trailers to ticket holders only...not saying ticket holders don't pull this crap, but it would definitely limit it.

There wasn't a limit on stickers in austin yesterday but a guy tried to buy 50+ so they put a limit of two on it right then and there. Good for the guys working the trailer.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

This happened in Hartford last year - but luckily there were more for sale inside when the doors opened.
