we drove from central mass after getting great seats from someone on this board, and ended up fourth row seats 1 and 2!!!!!!! this was my first time on the floor and i was fricken' amazed!! holy crap, i dont know what to say, but THANK YOU TO WHOEVER MY FRIEND GOT THE TICKETS FROM!!! cant say enough about the show, but i think my highlight was dont gimme no lip....my friend and i kept screaming throughout the show to 'let stone sing!' and 'mankind' and he kep looking at is and laughing/smiling, so i was REAL stoked when he busted out 'no lip!!!! definately but this boot, unreal. i also got a pic from stone after being kicked in the head while looking for it (and the kick was intentional)...
i was wearing a red sox varitek jersey, and only saw 1 other red sox jersey there, but a ton of red sox hats!! GO SOX!!
BRILLIANT!!
i think the posters were sold out before the door opened...sucks for people, like me, who got their tickets (at 2:00) before the merch tables were set up....and isnt there supposed to be a 1 poster limit per person?? i saw people with piles of them! Some people have religion, I have Pearl Jam...

Lighten up bro!
if you were near me i would have made you fucking love that show like your life depended on it!
where were you sitting?
dude, i saw you hobble over to the box office on crutches with the wrestling mask on, pointed you out to my gf, and we got a great laugh out of that. THAT was probably the highlight of the night. i also saw your friend get 8 posters, which i thought was fucked up. two i can see, but 8?...come on.
i was in sec. 121, row 21. same section as night 1, and night 1 was a great show as far as i'm concerned."let's hug it out, bitch."

Thank you!! This was def my highlight. I had a great view of Stone from sec. 118 and went nuts as soon as I realised that he was about to sing!! He seemed like he was having a great time last night. Smiling and dancing. Great time.

Wow!! Great fucking show! I had seats in the 203 which is by far my worst seats at a PJ show to date, but still I had a great time. It was cool to see the lightshow from above and the people on the floor rockin' out. There were some people behind us sitting down but for the most part everyone was having a good time up there.
As for the setlist, This was my 8th show and I've only said "holy shit" 2 other times to my friend as we were walking out, at Randalls Island II in '96 and at MSG I in 2003, I said it again last night, the set was that fucking amazing! I could care less whether they repeat songs from previous nights, who gives a shit? The crowd was amazing, the band was unbelievable, they pulled out songs I wanted to hear, and songs I never expected to hear, not to mention the staples that I always love to hear. Thank you Pearl Jam for a great 1st leg!
Now for some bitchin'. Not about the band but about my fellow 10 C members. How the fuck can you leave a show before the band takes it's bow? I don't give a shit how many times you've heard Alive or Ledbetter, you know how bad that looks when the arena lights are on and people from the first 30 rows are filing out with the band still playing? It's embarrassing to say the least. Have some fucking respect for the band.
That's it, I'm done ranting.

Last night was absolutely incredible!!!!! It just got better and better as the night went on! It was odd that they played the same three opening songs as Thursday, but there is no way I can complain about that....to just be there both nights was amazing!!!! Great 10c seats too....Thursday night Section 120 row 24 and last night Section 109 Row 7!!!
I'm sorry to the people that didn't get to buy a poster....I bought one poster...if it makes any of you feel any better the guy at our booth would only sell one poster per person...at least one of the workers/booths did his job correctly!
See you all at the Gorge...woohoo!!!!!
Oh and one more thing...I LOVED the way they did the first encore...not the normal sitting down slow acoustic set...not that I don't love the acoustic set, but I loved that they mixed it up and did it differently last night!DC 6/14/98

maybe some people have baysitters to get home to, and don't have time to battle the traffic out of the venue, or there might be a dozen other reasons why people need to get out of the arena early. think before you post--not everyone's lives revolve around pearl jam."let's hug it out, bitch."

Please. I left after the band was off the stage and got to my car and was on route 3 within about 10 minutes. And how do you explain all the grills fully blazing and people drinking as I was walking to my car? Yeah, those people really had babysitters to get home to. Give me a break.
I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you. If there were people that needed to get home to a babysitter or whatever, this post is not for them.****************************************

Well then duuuh... go to a different entrance and say it was a camera! lol... at least it would have been worth a shotctvedhead wrote:Got to the door about 630 and was headed in to see about a poster when the guy frisked me and let me through. I was holding my binocular case in my hand, they are the small kind perfect for concerts. I had shitty seats tonight, sec 210 row 6 (I missed out on the 10C onsale so I went for gen onsale) so the binoculars would have been nice. I took 3 steps passed the security guard and began pulling the door open when he grabbed my from behind and asked me if it was binoculars or a camera I was holding. I said binoculars, he said I can't bring them in. I had to walk all the way back to my car, which was on the opposite side of the complex across the footbridge near Giants Stadium. I took nearly 20 minutes each way so I didn't get a poster. The thing that gets me is that when he thought it was a camera, it was OK, but binoculars are banned? .Jones Beach II (2000), Holmdel (2003), Camden I, East Rutherford II, Gorge I, Gorge II (2006), MSG I, Boston II (2008), Spectrum II, Spectrum III, Spectrum IV (2009), MSG I, MSG II (2010), Prague (2012), Philly I (2013), Philly I, Philly II, Fenway I (2016), Fenway I (2018), MSG (2022), MSG I, Fenway 1 (2024)0 -

our seats practically the same as thursday nights, sec 122 row 8 on the aisle. amazing seats, great view of the stage!!!!!
the setlist blew me away! at first when there were the sound issues during animal i thought for a moment that it might have been a momentum killer but they picked it back up and once the sound got taken care of the show fucking rocked!
its kinda sad that our east coast shows are over now but i can wait for the GORGE!!!!!"I hear Fanch has a Pimp Cup and loves Kiss. I think that's all that really matters."0 -

Yeah, technically, but to East Coasters, Pittsburgh is considered the Midwest.****************************************

first off THE MEADOWLANDS SUCKS ASS
EVERYTHING ABOUT IT,, MIDDLE OF NO WHERE , only 2 ways to get onto the floor,, and lets not even talk about the sound in there
anyway the set was sick not for the average fan alot of obscure songs
which is great for me,,plus all the long jams ,,nothing like getting lost in a pearl jam jam lol
rats hard to imagine leash INSIDE JOB... SICK
out of all the shows back to back in the same venue i have seen, this was by far the most out of left field sets ever ,,so many songs ive never heard
so, once again THANK YOU for 2 great nights
bring on SAN FRAN !!!!!!!
P.S. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FUCKING ARENA
ALSO GREAT TO SEE YA DREAM ,,ALWAYS A PLEASURE
WE HAVE A WEIRD WAY OF BUMPING INTO EACH OTHER
and its always the same thing i hear..." jason" lol u have great vision0 -
