Take his rights away and give him some jail time. It really isn't that hard to abide by the rules, it's not.
But it is, apparently. If he pointed in your direction, would you have drawn? Maybe shot him? Been within your “rights?”
I know exactly what I'd have done.
You sound like it's a movie and that's how things go down, it's not.
What would you have done? How would it “have gone down?” You pretend to know. Who else in line is carrying? What would they have done? Yea, you know how it goes down. Sure.
You deescalate the situation. Rule 1.
You think that when a gun is drawn at you from point blank you'll be able to react faster than the person holding the gun? No way you draw down, that's only in movies.
That's how it "goes down". you want to play cowboy and draw? Good luck with that. That's how you make it sound when you write things.
Did I say “point blank?” What if you were 20-50 feet right or left and he turns toward you, gun raised, moving in your direction? Are you going to “de-escalate” the situation? How? By hoping they don’t shoot you? Maybe all deli counter workers should be armed with more than knives?
Now, what should the punishment be for the “responsible” gun owner in the video? Both legally and preferred? What’s just punishment? In the “civilized” society in the great State of Florida?

I knew not to engage with you. I gave an answer and it isn't what you want to hear so you take it to another level and the "what abouts?".

I'm done.
I was just trying to understand the mentality of a gun owner who makes light of the fact that a “responsible” gun owner pulled out his gun at the deli counter and threatened people because the line didn’t move fast enough for him. You seem totally ok with that type of behavior because you “know how it would go down.” Complete madness. Like as if going to the supermarket in the age of covid isn’t stressful enough, residents of Florida have to wonder if they’ll get shot because the guy behind the slicer is too slow.
Do you think that is typical behavior of the average gun owner in the US?
No, the typical behavior of the average gun owner is not to roundly and soundly condemn the “responsible” gun owners who are a trigger away from shooting someone at their “protests.” It’s just a matter of time.
I see that someone is trying to comment, but I have them on ignore...probably just something about a Ptape.. Seriously, though, why are there people with firearms “protecting” the Capital Hill “autonomous zone”? Where is the outrage?

Because 'Merica! Just some "responsible" gun owners protecting [INSERT WHAT THEY'RE PROTECTING] from [INSERT WHAT THEY'RE ON GUARD FOR]

They are hillbillies, obviously.
But the Bundy’s are patriots, just like the covid hillbillies protesting the wearing of masks and quarantining, right?
Your putting me on ignore doesn’t negate my ability to respond to your posts, as inane or troll like they may be. To answer your question, firearms at any public demonstration bother me, whether they be ANTIFA, as you seem to imply, “responsible” gun owners or hillbillies as you point out.

I haven't seen anything really talking about that from sources outside of right-wing media. CNN and Seattle's independent weekly, The Stranger, haven't seen it, and describe the situation as peaceful. Images on the local news look pretty calm right now as well. I haven't personally wandered through the CHAZ so I can't say for sure either way. But I do know that when the cops and National Guard were out en masse with their barricades, riot gear, guns, pepper spray and tear gas grenades, there was definitely the feeling that the pot was boiling over. Live footage on the news definitely seems calmer.

No clue what's going on but if I had to guess I'd say trollers being trolls and trolling in the name of the troll-in-chief. Or is that the trollers posting about it. It's all so confusing

The story above reminds me of this. You may want to shoot someone, but you should not.
