So the letter says: The victim's mother wants me recused from the case because there is a conflict of interest and she believes I am protecting my friend.
These are career professional attorneys. If there was a whiff of conflict of interest, this particular DA should have never been assigned in the first place.
This letter doesn't help your case or prove your point at all. It strengthens the case that the DA was specifically assigned to cover up for his buddy.
No better way to manufacture a cover up than to drag feet and get the case tied up in bureaucratic red tape.
