Is there a show she would like to see? Tickets for that maybe or how about booking a little spa break or vouchers for a health/beauty day or whatever they are called.. facial, massage, get her nails done, etc....

EDIT: Pampering day... that's what it is.. Chime got there before me for that one...

Shit.. I know what I want for my 50th!

she'd hate a pampering day and she only watches wee half hour shows as she has no attention... i dont think she's watched a film in the last 20 years... and she doesnt read books, except for Argos... i'm not painting my poor mum in a good light here am i? :D

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Before I forget... thanks to a Youkanland invite from Pegasus :) I've managed to acquire the Iconoclasts (Ed + Laird Hamilton) show on DVD so if anyone wants a copy let me know and I'll see what I can sort out (after Easter).
