Lol, no it's not too bad - just cos my back hasn't got much sun this year so it's finally matching my front now :D

The weather on Saturday was disgusting... we sat in the tent til 5pm smoking and ya could hear everyone doing the same thing. Just chatting. Then we left and walked around for a bit but it was so cold. We went into one tent and Jenny Lewis was playing and we stayed there for a bit but decided to head back to the van and warm up. I read yesterday that while she was playing the roof of the tent split in two and all the water came in but everyone just danced under it :D . That must have been just after we left. So we stayed in the van for about an hour or two and went out in time for The Strokes who were pretty good... and then The Who :)

lol. right. :D but if it's bunrt tho it can still peel and you don't want that. :p

oh I wish I could see the Who someday! :D lol. I have no idea who Jenny Lewis is but I'm glad to hear her audience didn't leave her because of a split tent. :D lol.

Well thats true I don't want all my skin coming off :D . I believe Jenny Lewis was on Jools Holland the same night as PJ maybe? Or where did I see her? Ironically we only went in there to dry off for a while :D as did most people I think but maybe when the roof split everyone just thought 'ah fuck it'. You have to go see the who if you ever can, Pete Townsend was jumping around like a 16 year old and they put all the younger bands to shame. He wasn't the only one jumping around like a 16 year old either  I went mental, lol.

Hey hells, yeah my bro enjoyed it, was blown away by the who!! Another friend said that Pete Townsend was booed?? My bro said the weather was a major pain in the ass. He said it wasn't as good as last year but then last year the sun split the stones, he was there with a group of lads and this year he was with his girlfriend and a another couple so its bound to be different :D:D

Glad you enjoed it. So "WHO" was the highlight of the weekend for you??

And most important....tell me you went to see Gemma and sent her my love :o

well, I wouldn't know would I? I haven't seen that Jools Holland thingie.. Danny said he'd send it to me as a b-day pressie but I dunno.. :D:D

The weather WAS a pain - I just wanted to get out and see something cos I was thinking what if it's like this all weekend and I don't get to see ANY bands? Lol, but we had a good time in the tent, I was so nicely stoned and nicely drunk all weekend without getting too drunk or hungover or anything or even FEELING stoned really... just everything was lovely! The Who and Sigur Ros were without a doubt the highlights for me... oh and Manu Chao were great. I'd only heard little things about them but they were on about 3pm Sunday or something when we were just sitting around the grass listening to the main acts and they were so summery and I just wanted to get up and dance. They really got the crowd going. Wolfmother were brilliant but they were on too early and I wasn't in the mood for them yet which was a shame.

    Morning all :)

Hells glad you had a great time :D I watched a bit of T in the Park on TV so could watch The Who again (can't believe it's three weeks since I saw them  ) as well as the jumping around Pete got in a lot of trademark arm windmills when we saw them :D

Dunk did you get to watch much T in the Park? Strange the King Tut's tent looks like it holds at least 50 times as many people as the Wah Wah Hut :D:p

One thing about T in the Park. How bad are The Go! Team? :o
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Not that I know of  I think I did hear some booing at some stage but wasn't sure if they were booing or chanting something. It's a shame though cos of the amount of people going 'oh Pete Townsend was got for child pornography, wasn't he?' and when I try to explain they think he's just another celebrity getting away with something. But he was brilliant - put everyone to shame.
