Don't worry, my lips area sealed.

It's sometimes a bit crazy how old/grown up some kids can look nowadays. (Emphasis on 'kids'.) But I suppose most of them don't mind.

Extreme posting! Sitting outside! Whoo! 8-)

Of course, I'm only on the balcony. :P And even this was a bit of a hassle, since my dear old computer-tron needs to be plugged in all the time.

'Tis nice and sunny though, and there are loads of birds around. They like to hang out in a tree/bush/thing that's right next to our balcony. In fact, some of it's branches reach over. It's flowering so I'm just glad it hasn't attracted many/any bees. *knocks on wood*

 Funny though when I say Dave's post I said it to Mrs Al and she nearly fell over, she got a hell of a shock. (plus she was in ribbons from the night before  ) She says she remembers everything about the day what she was wearing, drinking and most of all how her heart nearly stopped when ed came out in a mask...I too was too young....or working or some shit like that...shut up I dont want to talk about it

    Oh dear :?

I couldn't get the day off work, was in a stroppy teenage fouler all day, came home from work and walked in the door. My ma and our next door neighbour jackie were havin a cuppa at the table and Jackie asked what was wrong with me, me ma says "oh he's just pissed off he couldnt go to this gig today", to which she got the death stare, then Jackie turns around and says, "is that the gig on out in Slane", I muttered "yes" quite possibly followed by a "fuck sake", to which Jackie replied, oh I had two VIP tickets to that but had no-one to go with.... was closely followed by  and then a bit of  and finally a bit of  ...as I'm sure you can image, my mood significantly picked up after that

I have a good friend who was a radio DJ who continues to take great pleasure in talking me through watching the gig from the side of the stage...wanker  ..I tried to rob his laminate when I was at a party in his house, but felt too guilty

I remember when they played in 2000, I was only 15 or so and my friend in school who was mad into them at the time (I wasn't a fan, the name sounded familiar but that was it) was in a strop cos her Ma wouldn't let her take the day off school and go to Dublin on her own for the gig. We spent the whole day takin' the piss out of her and kept telling her to get over it, it was only a fuckin' band and they'd probably play again next year

A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine emigrated and she gave me the drum cover thingy from the gig that night 8-)

Great gig that one...only problem was me an lil bro "called in" to the bar in jurys up the road and did the whole top shelf along with a shit load of pints  we met Mrs lil bro and Daddy Al and they were just looking at us going, "should you not find a corner and die or something" and we said "NO...WE'RE HERE TO ROCK" and rock we did, very drunkenly....one thing I regret is that I only have a vague recollection of ed stage diving during black. :?

    How are we?

Apologies for my absense, i've been rather ill of late and extremely busy... it's not that i've forgotten you, I want to post more and I miss you all but such is life...

Anyhoo, plans are afoot for me to tattoo my first victim next week... exciting but rather scary times
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

That is a terrible thing to call Dave...HIS NAME IS DAVID

Hi Mrs Of the Dead  miss ya sweet cheeks (and you do have mighty fine sweet cheeks) ;)
Was just thinking, its probably for the best that I cant make your big day (although a little disappointed I didnt get invited to the hen party  ) cause I have been known to storm the alter/stage and grab the bride and say "dont do it, our love cant be kept apart"...even with complete strangers...you should see peoples faces :D ...and I most certainly would be storming your stage and grabbing dave and repeating the above words :wtf:   :silent: :shifty: :lolno:
