    Ok, ok...

I dunno if you've heard of these before, but give them a try! (The rest of you can pay attention too!) Look at the related videos etc, they'll give you more ideas!

    Ashes Divide (APC's guitarist): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxPVtm8KGxQ

The Answer: The nordies answer to Zep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fgkke7f0vk
Porcupine Tree: Quite trippy Rush-esque, this would be one of their rockier numbers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q51FQqPF9yA

Zakk Wylde/ Black Label Society: His solo stuff is lovely, with that little sly angle of hatred that you don't really notice till after the first listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HG-nKIXMis. BLS are pure rockin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhfotGKxA9A (and yes, that is Rob Trujillo on guest-bass), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foSkPjvu ... re=related

Machinehead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mWPPBW4DU8 The Blackening would be one of their better albums

Team Sleep: Would be APC-esque, with yerman from the Deftones on vocals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yk08wMoV ... re=related

Oceansize: Again, the rockier side of prog stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFkyrRqzkIQ

Buckcherry: I had a boogy to these after you had left us in Edinburgh, it was awesome! They're loud and rockin': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPzwibteLgo. Black Stone Cherry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omo-fwok ... ure=relmfu

    Honourable mentions: DevilDriver: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0K3eBuo ... re=related,
Gojira: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eljjOJwlDY (love this song, the rest are much heavier than this), Corrosion of Conformity (who are actually playing Dublin next Saturday!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ebpwjj32vew (btw, do you rememeber that TV show?!)
    Stone Sour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSJuNeTdUxo

Happy Monday peeps! It's actually a bit sunny today in Dublin.

Had my parents 40th wedding anniversary over the weekend so I was in the boglands for that. T'was fun, as much fun as ye'd get out of a group of people waltzing all night

    Hello all!

I just finished watching the most infuriating documentary I've seen in a while. (About plastic surgery, women's self image, photoshopping and all that guff.) :x So I'll keep this message short and sweet to avoid a massive rant.

Hope you're all doing well!

The rain is quite depressing, I must admit. This time last year was lovely, the sun shone for 2 weeks and the country looked lovely. I think it has rained every day in June :(

So I was sitting here, watching Four Weddings and half listening to this girl talk about her wedding in North Finland yadda yadda.. Then the song on the background catches my attention. Is it..? Could it be..? And it was! Blood, by our very own Pearl Jam. Feckin' brilliant.

I know this is strange, but I found his album (the new one) to be very... well... English  I dunno how that'd translate over here!

Well, unlike Sian, at least he doesn't mention Potato's :P *ducks*
He does seem a lot more patriotic on this album - he's much less so on the earlier stuff.
