Hey PJ Fans! My name is Jason. Long time fan, new member to 10C. Those of you coming to Denver...welcome! The Denver area has much to offer for visitors. Areas like LoDo, 16th St. Mall, The Santa Fe arts district, Highlands. LoHi and Cherry Creek are all areas to check out. For those of you who are outdoor enthusiasts, that time of year will be great sight seeing in the mountains for the aspen trees. Great places to check out in the mountains would be St. Mary's, Torrey Peaks, Mt. Evans, Fairplay, Evergreen/Pine, Nederland, and Fourth of July canyon. A must see is Red Rocks State Park. For any of you coming from out of town, feel free to message me with any questions. Safe travels to everyone and looking forward to an amazing evening!

Ill be there, booked a room at Curtis as well! If anyone has 1 spare, I would love to take a friend....kinda scared to travel alone :-/
I'm doing the same from AZ, but I guess not as scary since I'm a guy. I bought an extra reserved seat from someone so don't have one available for your friend. I can escort you back and forth to the stadium if you'd like. Would be nice to walk over and back with another PJ fan.

Is there a preparty before the concert? I'm another female traveling solo from way out of town and this would address one concern. You guys are quick, I can't afford to book any travel details for at least 2 months. I might even take a couple days and drive; cheaper than flying and way less scary. Who knows. Haven't thought past - I'm going to see PJ in Denver!

I've come to realize that you need to be quick in at least booking a hotel when Pearl Jam is playing, once the hotels see the trend of bookings they raise those prices quickly. Most hotel and booking sites have the option to book now and pay on arrival, at least you're holding a room at the current rate.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check out a couple of sites.
Florida 10c fan making my first trip to Denver. Booked at the Curtis. Still looking for a GA ticket but I will be there for preparty, postparty and everything in between!

I will be there and plan to hit some craft breweries for a couple of days before the show. I also have an extra lower level single available and an extra upper level single. After buying my first ticket, i kept refreshing and wound up getting better locations twice.

I'd keep my eye on flights... check Kayak and Southwest, and for the former keep in mind that Frontier and Spirit charge for all but the smallest backpack for both carry-on and checked bags, so they might not be the cheapest option unless you're traveling very light. FYI, I just drove my MINI out here from your part of the world a few weeks ago, and the gas and at least one night hotel is give or take break even on the costs for a flight, and I was averaging 36mpg. If you don't get that kind of milage, and factoring in the wear & tear and the risk of a breakdown, and I think you're far better off looking into flights.
