Since I live in Austin, I am obligated to attend both weekends. No complaints - getting to see PJ play anywhere in Texas is awesome and I'll gladly take it!
I'm not saying they WILL play ABQ... if they don't (ever again) it might be due to lack of interest/chance of a sell out, but not because ABQ is in the can't-play-after-ACL-radius.
Kings of Leon just got announced for the big amphitheater (where PJ played in 2000) here... if they can play here surely Pearl Jam could too, they just don't WANT to.

To the 2 cool Texas dudes I hung with, drank with in Atlanta at MMF in 2012... hope to see ya'll there....LOL.... oh ya, one of ya'll that I mostly talked football/sports/etc with...cool dude btw... You had CROWN in your pepsi bottle.... which was smart as it was 100's and 100's ++ of feet to any beverage tent from the crowd.... (never again as I left for a quick beer run and it cost me 2 1/2 songs....FUCK!!!
An interesting take on the new PJ lotto system of getting tickets.
Instead of putting your credit card info into a bingo ball in hopes of getting tickets, now you actually pay for tickets with 1 : 3 odds that there is a payoff ...
So pumped! Hopefull they play voodoo again this year also!!
Voo Doo was a blast.
With Shep on this. I don't much care for the other acts so currently it will cost me $460 ( for two) to see 2 hours of pj. Times two for both weekends. No pj ticket opportunities. Don't blame PJ, great gig for them. Will likely wait for single day passes or go see em at the Gorge.
You guys should come play in Albuquerque the Wednesday between ACL weekends! Can even make it a smaller venue show for our small city.
Assuming they skip CO again (pretty good assumption based on their track record) I could totally get behind an Albuquerque show. A fall road trip with a day or two stop in Taos or Santa Fe would work just fine. Perfect for between the ACL weekends.

:-c :-c :-c
Again, I think they're more likely to NOT play ABQ than to play it... and more likely to play Colorado if there is somewhat of a tour built around the Austin fests. But I thought the same thing when they played ACL 5 years ago and that was a total joke, just flying in from LA and back to LA. So who knows!
Did you come in for the EV ABQ show two years ago?

Hey I got a new suggestion--play the Santa Fe Opera House!! They have one or two rock concerts there a year. It would be pretty much greater than Benaroya Hall, if such a thing exists. Check out the venue photos. More fitting for an Eddie show, but PJ could pull it off and sell it out!

Santa Fe Opera House would be incredible! That's what they need, some surprise venues with some character. No, I didn't make it down for the EV show in ABQ two years ago, and I've been kicking myself for it ever since... big huge idiotic mistake on my part.
I"m most likely in for both, but definitely the 2nd weekend. That's the TX/OU weekend in Dallas, and I'm glad to get out of town for that weekend every year. I'll be waiting for single day tickets to go on sale before spending $250 on a 3 day pass.

Never seen them live and almost impulsively went for a package, then i looked at the price (airfare, hotel) and my eyes glazed over. I've watched the Just Breathe video from ACL more times than i can count, but I decided to wait for the single day tickets to become available and check out travel stuff in the mean time. Also hoping they do more dates in the US. I'm in NJ - right across from Manhattan - so my desire for them to come here is purely selfish. I know there are areas of the country that are neglected when it comes to tours, of lots of bands. I'm just excited that I might get to see them sooner than I thought. It's taken me 23 years to get to the concert on time - I'm smiling at the mere possibility.
Festival shows are lame. Can't wait until real dates are announced. I'm guessing Midwest will definitely get something. I can't see east and west getting hit.
likely going the second weekend will wait for the one day pass! As long as I dont have to trench through shitmud like I did in 2009 seeing them at ACL is good with me! Any PJ is better than no PJ

last year the schedules were identical from one weekend to the next.
either way, if you are looking at single day tickets, you will know which day before they go on sale.
