In 2009 PJ played 2 and a half hours so I see no reason they won't again.
Really? I wouldn't think a 24 song set would take up that much time.
ACL acts start and finish right on the button for the most part. My recollection of 2009 was that the may have gone over 5-10 minutes at the most, but its been a while

not really sure what kind of drugs you were on, but that set was just like a minute or 2 over the 2 hour mark... I should know, I was about 10 rows deep by the end of it... and the only reason they got the extra 5 minutes was because eddie was out diving around in the mud...
you can bank on a 2 hour set, unless there's a rain delay. the festival has an hour cushion (i.e. curfew is at 11) in case of rain delay, but otherwise, it's done at 10.

Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
I have PJ on Sunday and Paul McCartney on Monday! I was going to his original show date but he got sick and rescheduled it. It's going to be a long work week on Wednesday!

It may have already been mentioned, but will the band still have a poster for something like this? Or will it simply be the ACL poster that I see on their website.. This very much effects what time I will enter the park on Sunday
Thanks!

I would THINK there will still be a Pearl Jam specific poster... They have done them for the ACL festival in the past and most of the other festivals they play!!

pearl jam will likely have their own poster. they have enough sway to pull that off...
and man that ACL poster is fugly...

For acl '09 Ames brothers had a tent and signed and numbered PJ posters there. Not sure if they'll do it again but $ talks and pj knows their fans will buy pj posters so I bet there'll be a PJ exclusive poster too, just like there'll be pj t shirts and other merch. Hopefully no toothbrush or toilet paper or dog collar or sheep though. Shits getting out of hand.
I pre-ordered this poster (festival poster) a couple months back. PJ usually has their own show poster as well for festivals. I like having both, so it was nice to get this one out of the way early.
too much quality posters being produced lately for me to pay attention to this crap. I haven't been pleased with C3 in recent years... they have been tapping artists that don't usually do gig prints and asking them to make the lolla and ACL posters, some of them have turned out ok... but I mean, Todd Slater lives in Austin, you got Jermaine Rogers over here in Houston... just let one of these good ol' boys take care of it... they won't fuck it up.

Whoever jumps in this pool to represent ACL 1 will be the one who gets ELWAYVEDDER a COMPLETE set of posters from the 12 show tour coming up in October
He will use these posters to raise money for Operation Yellow Ribbon
By doing this, you will also have the chance to win several posters from the upcomIng tour

Agreed. Slater is probably my favorite artist these days. I'm glad PJ finally started using him. Maybe he'll do their poster for the Fest. I wonder if they'll have a different poster for each weekend. I would think they would. $$$
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
Congrat's on the wedding, shep. She must like complaining! Our wives would probably have a lot to talk about...like how to deal with complainers and PJ obsessions.
