Pearl Jam to Headline Austin City Limits

the picture only had the headliners. it was outkast and beck on friday, skrillex and eminem on saturday and PJ on sunday. replacements are also sunday but won't be at the same time as PJ.

Girlfriend is dying to see Lorde and I guarantee they will be on the same time as PJ. Looks like we are splitting up haha.

cant wait. just made a power move- booked a flight to Lincoln, have a friend going with a extra GA... then fly to ACL solo for the weekend, home to Phila Monday am... about to book a hotel now. my wallet hates me, and pearl jam... was only gonna do Denver but fuck it. see you all in Austin, tokin on the finest herbs

Nobody will be on opposite PJ. The Sunday headliner is the only one playing at that time.

last year lionel richie and atoms for peace were on at the same time on sunday. Atoms for peace started and ended earlier, but there was still a good hour + worth of overlap.

I know it was after 9 when I left atoms for peace and lionel was definitely still on the main stage...

I wouldn't bank on anything until you see the schedule.... 3C has been trending this way the last little while... it helps break up the crowd a little bit and eases the herding of cattle getting out of the place...

Wow, you're right. Looks like they changed it last year. In 2012 there was only 15 minutes of overlap.

October 5th-12th
The Replacements (Spoon) Pearl Jam
vs.
Lorde (Zedd) Calvin Harris

So, Pearl Jam vs Calvin Harris, and you choose one of the other four to see as prior act. Based on that guess, I'd be able to do Lorde then PJ. I hope that's right, even thought I would like to the Replacements or Spoon as well.

Stubb's is a fantastic venue. Better Dan and I drove down and saw Band of Horses there last April and it was an awesome place to see a show!

Anyone purchasing Platinum tickets? Pricey but apparently gets you into artist areas. Does that mean you'd get to meet PJ!?

Going both weekends myself since I live an hour away in San Antonio. Hopefully they come out on fire like they did for Atlanta Midtown Music Festival, 2 hours FLIES BY when PJ is on stage. Save the slow stuff like Release for a breather in the middle of the show.
