Does anyone think we really have any chance in Game 6? Yeah it's all on the line tonight.
Not to get ahead of myself, but makes me think - if it goes 7 I wonder if they'd skip McCullers or do a McCullers/Javier tandem where Lance sees no more than once or twice through the lineup.

After that turd of a start by Nola (I know they're not the same person) I no longer have any confidence in Wheeler, either, coming back and turning it around. Only way they win now is if they mash.

He was in a Jonah Hill movie that was okay to solid...that's all I know.  And the fact they show him at every single Phillies playoff game. Also, A+ Parks reference

I have to figure something is up with Wheeler.  Today is as big of a game as can be, aside from elimination, but I really don't feel like he doesn't pitch tonight because of "fatigue". The stakes tonight are too big.

Maybe give Wheeler an opener? Not sure who the hell that would be - maybe Brogdon.

With that said - really would be nice for Segura to show up to this series, too!
Yea Segura has not been good in the playoffs.  He is flying out too much.  At least the last at bat last night he hit it hard. Maybe that will get him going.

A bullpen game no less. In a World Series game. In a series tied 2-2. I mean if they're going to win this they're going to have to play a game 6 or 7, so fine, whatever. Just don't feel good about him anymore. I'm sure we'll find out when this is over that he has to get bone spurs removed from his elbow.

The last playoff game we missed for a concert was when we saw The Raconteurs on 10/17/2019. On that day, Houston beat the Yankees 8-3 in game 4 of the ALCS. I'm hoping the same holds true tonight. I couldn't have my phone at that show (Jack White policy)...so I was a wreck by the time the show ended.

I missed most of Game 2 at the union event meeting Mr. Fetterman. We started making a comeback attempt once I got home. This could help mfc. ;)

Come on Cliff. You know that if the Yankees went through anything remotely close to the last decade of Phils baseball, that stadium up there would be a ghost town.

We're going to a concert tonight and I already know that I'll be nervously checking my phone every 5 minutes.
There would be zero shows I would be going to, I wouldn't be able to handle it. Only one band and one show was worthy of me not watching the Phils in the World Series.

Also, without question your best starter is Cristian Javier - a rising fastball is a hard thing to hit. If I ranked your starters they would go 1) Javier 2) Valdez 3) Verlander 4) McCullers
It would've lined up perfectly if not for the rainout. We bought these tickets months ago & they're a gift, so no way I'm staying home. In any case, I'll be looking down at my phone a lot. lol

I definitely agree with your rankings. JV has to bring it tonight. If he's off, Dusty needs to pull him.
    what concert?

I was at a concert in 2012, when my Giants finished off the cardinals….down 0-2, they reeled off 3 straight against cincy and down 1-3 did the same against the cards. BTW, the concert sucked.

Yankees ALCS Game 4 tixx were going for $17 so I don't think there's much room to talk there. Not to mention the Aaron Judge booing.

Last game of the year at the ballpark. I just need about another hour here to lay on my face, and then these vocal cords are going to be left at the sports complex never to return.

You'll appreciate this...have been getting my balls busted for going tonight for a while now, but just got a text "Cliff, I want you to know you're a real piece of work. A Fraud, A bandwagon jumping POS and I'm telling Jeter"....I replied with a picture of me in a Phillies hat.

    Tonight might get messy.
