Well if you’re gonna lose might as well go down in historic fashion.

Gonna need about 7 against Mr Upton in game 5

Lost in how fun this run has been is how god-awful Nick Castellanos is.  I've never seen a guy who is a supposed extra base hit hitter never hit the ball hard like this guy.  He just never hits a hard ball for hits or outs. Even his hits have been mostly bloopers.  And after swinging and missing at the low outside breaking ball for about the 5000 time this season one would think he'd maybe lay off it but no...he can't avoid swinging at that pitch.   He really is nauseating to watch at the plate.  And yes I am hoping by ripping him here it gets his shitty bat going.

And it sure came through on TV. I watched last night's game with my father, and he didn't see game 3. I was telling him how crazy the crowd was during game 3 and was hyping up the first pitch of game 4 to Altuve. "They were all over him last night with 'cheater' chants. Wait till you hear this." But it was almost dead silence.

Yeah Castellanos is dreadful and really needs to be dropped in the lineup.

His at bats are the worst, always flailing at everything low and away. Frustrates the hell out of me.

My approach to Nick has been The Burrell Treatment - the more I would speak into existence that Pat sucks the better he would do. So far not as much of a payoff with this one!

Huge game tonight. It'll be interesting to see if JV can bounce back & I imagine he's got a shorter leash than he did in game 1.

That worked once for me but all the other times I was right. Last night he came up to bat and I just went into the kitchen and washed some dishes.

    Yeah that's a good point.

I mean, it's basically one team failed to get a hit for 9 innings. Nobody on the other team actually pitched a no hitter. The guy has to get 27 outs for that. It's a choice - save your guy for a couple innings in game 7 or go for the no hitter - can't have it both ways.

This is where I'm at right now, but I think part of it is my body saying "YOU CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE"

Need to just sit here and hydrate for the next 6 hours...

There would be zero shows I would be going to, I wouldn't be able to handle it. Only one band and one show was worthy of me not watching the Phils in the World Series.

Also, without question your best starter is Cristian Javier - a rising fastball is a hard thing to hit. If I ranked your starters they would go 1) Javier 2) Valdez 3) Verlander 4) McCullers

Does anyone think we really have any chance in Game 6? Yeah it's all on the line tonight.

It would've lined up perfectly if not for the rainout. We bought these tickets months ago & they're a gift, so no way I'm staying home. In any case, I'll be looking down at my phone a lot. lol

I definitely agree with your rankings. JV has to bring it tonight. If he's off, Dusty needs to pull him.
