Harper might have had one of the greatest rehab stints in the history of baseball. Two homeruns in his first game. A walkoff double in his second game. Beats anything I've ever seen a Phillie do with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons.
amazing that the Phillies should end their 11 year playoff drought. Somehow that's not the worst. Seattle has missed the playoffs 20 years in a row (which looks like that should end this year as well)

I still don't get it. Are they dealing with Long Covid or some shit? I really don't understand this settling into the shortest setlists they've played in ~25 years.

you missed Last Kiss. Don't they play that at pretty much every show in this area? Can't believe the Ten show was the last time they were in the area. Just hoping they get through the Canada and NY runs without any issues.
Edit: oh, haha, I thought this was an actual setlist from last night or something.

What is Freedom Mortgage Pavilion Lounge Access? They have cheap tickets to The War on Drugs for 9/16.
EDIT: This is an add-on, not a ticket.

damn, 18 runs last night! That's probably the most they have scored in quite sometime I would think.
Also surprised not one of those runs came via homerun
This might be a record, every person in the starting lineup had a multi hit game last night. Also a possible record of scoring 18 runs, no every person in the starting lineup had at least two hits and not a single homerun in the game.

Yeah, I mean closing out the Spectrum is an exception. But my stance is this is a super bummer and disappointing. Will I have a fucking blast come the 14th? Absolutely. But if this keeps up then they're no longer 'That Band' to me imo.
Basically they've cut out the 1st encore, and are running shows in length ala 1998. Huge bummer.

Yeah not quite '98. Looks like they averaged around 25-26 or so back then. If they squeeze out an extra few songs to get to that number, I'll be fine. They are getting older.

.....(takes a deep breath, pushes back bridge of nerd glasses preparing for Nerd Mode)....
Or whatever it was - just making a point that this is their shortest sets in 25 years. I'm giving them a mulligan for 2022. And I'm not getting my hopes up for 25 songs. No question they're older, but these vegans aren't yet 60. Just a bummer it's so sudden - when people bought tix in 2019 I think it was under the assumption of the usual show (~26,27-ish songs minimum, 3 sets - main, 1st enc, 2nd enc). Of course there's a New Normal, but unless they got Long Covid I don't see the reason for the scaling back.
I don't even think they've played a full-blown tour in a decade (which is crazy to think) - I don't think a "tour" has been more than like 15 shows at a time.
Again, giving them a mulligan for this year. But if this is the way it goes going forward then I'll hit a Philly show, but no need to hit more than one show imo. And I don't even think it's the length that's the biggest bummer. It's the unoriginal, generic regurgitation of the last 1/3 of the set/ending of a show. Very cool that they busted out Other Side, and that they did the sitdown set, but between the shorter sets and the same endings to shows it's all just a bummer. And, yes, that's more on me than anything - just going to take some getting used to and adjusting as such. Which was going to happen at some point anyway, I guess.
I'll be having a blast on the 14th, because these things will be like reunions going forward. Just a bummer for now.

I will still be surprised if places like Philly and NY only get 21 or 22 songs though.
They have been doing these sorta 3-week jaunts for quite a while now, which I believe is to not be away from their families for extended periods of time. Nothing wrong with that. But yeah I have found the 2022 setlists to be underwhelming. Whatever, when they play RVM I'll go crazy as usual.
