That's the piece that's lagging in this new "set"/style than anything - seems like the encores are the same 2, 3 songs. We're losing that "let's get weird" middle section of the first encore. If they can keep up this kind of mix for the main set I can probably deal.
Edit: I'll also say I don't think Jeremy gets played nearly enough as the other staple hits.
This Frankfurt show is what I need the Camden show to be: variety, variety, variety. Wow.

Still too short for how spoiled we are, but I agree that this setlist qas great. Fatal. Opening with Inside Job? Awesome. River Cross is the only dud, to me, but it is new album and I would expect them to play some from new record.
Highly recommend The Jim bar in South Philly. Small, dark, beers and booze, loud music. Looking like a perfect bar.
I actually just read about that place in the Inquirer not that long ago.
Do people named Jim eat/drink for free?

Gotta say big fan of what the Seaport Museum did with selling this (leasing this?) space out for Liberty Point. It's a pretty awesome setup, and I'm starting to think this might be my setup for the Camden show.

Keep me in the loop on that. I was leaning towards PATCO since I've had nightmares on the ferry, but maybe it's gotten better?

As someone with a shit ton of anxiety the ferry really isn't good for me. But at the same time I've never actually missed it coming home, since that's really the only issue with it.
Biggest thing for me when I initially heard 'Camden show' I'm like 'aw shit I actually miss tailgating at that place'. But now I've come back around to the idea of 'orrrr I could just drink my way down to this place and not have to deal with anything'.
The last time I took the ferry was for Radiohead and I totally missed the opener (Grizzly Bear! - dammit!) and basically we ran in during 15 Step. Like 2 hours of waiting.

I've no idea what we will do but stoked at the idea of not having to travel to see them after going to Boston multiple times, New York multiple times, Seattle, and Montana since seeing them last in philly. (I believe, without looking, and if i count the HoF).

there was an article in the Inquirer the other week about Kurt Vile. God read. My mom cut it out for me.

Can go to seaport anytime. I’m getting a party bus with a bathroom and tailgating and getting a drunk ass easy ride back to south Philly
You pay them to drop off ans pick up or you rent and have a sober person to drive?
Whole shebang. Gonna just get it to pick us up in south Philly, drive us over, tailgate, wait, then drive back to south Philly. Have a good few people going (JP don’t be ridiculous and come with us) so will be a good time

Great idea Have some funny memories from party bus rides on the past. Also, anything which keeps drunk driving down is good. Patco and walking to venue and then patco to Uber from the station back home has worked well in the past. Almost every time we are fucking dying from having to piss, though. The bathroom on board is a big call.

Melrose maybe or maybe not being torn down. It's a great spot for getting mediocre birthday cakes and eating with weird strangers...

Would it suck if Darrell Clarke effectively gets 9+ years as Mayor? Absolutely. But will I put up with this dipshit who is currently holding office because he's holding people hostage at the fact that he knows people fear the former? No. Resign, you dipshit.
One of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard a politician say.

Not to go all defending Kenney, but I don't think it's that unreasonable of a thing to say, especially in the moment. Having to deal with the thought of people dying on your watch at every big event has to be taxing.
I think the more troubling thing is that there was a shooting and mass panic at a city wide event and there is not one ounce of info about it over 12 hours later.
The guy has been disconnected and has not wanted to deal with being a leader since before his 2nd term started. If you don't want to do deal with the bullshit then don't run for mayor. Ain't the time to simp for the guy, whoa is him for sure. Fingers crossed one of these days we get some public officials that actually lead from the front.
I think the more troubling thing is the 4 other shootings overnight where people died and didn't make the news. But someone get that Human Thumb McNesby a political grandstand to show me how a shot bullet magically sat in a cop's hat. Or that the police got a $30M increase to their budget this year, while no other agency saw shit, and every cop gets to bitch that they're not getting any support. Or that Outlaw, who also fucking sucks, gave Jimmy the coverage to slink out of that conference. Fucking waahhhh. Or that at an event with metal detectors and for all their superpowers to "defend and protect" that these geniuses aren't even able to identify what has happened yet. It's almost like it's a bigger issue that funding the police with more money and weapons doesn't do jack shit. Fuck em all.

Yes, anybody there had to walk through all of that rigmarole you see at any major event.
Seeing the quickly-catching-on-theme that this may have been someone somewhere in the city shooting off a gun in the air for the holiday (because 'Merka Fuck Yeah), bullet fell on an officer, then the officers said there were gunshots to the people around them and then the stampede proceeded. EDIT: And people who really really really hate the cops are going into conspiracy theory mode that it was all made up. As much as I would like to believe that I'm not, at least not at this time.
I'll have to find the quotes I saw from two people interviewed on-scene describing what one of the cops told them.

Just weird that cops were shot and recovered so quickly. And only the 2 cops were shot - nobody else. And yeah the 4 people killed overnight won't ever get a second mention, if they even got a first.

Unless something has changed and it might have since it’s been a while, but when I did fireworks on the parkway there was no security screening. Maybe just for the concert area?
Starting to think the falling celebratory bullet lines up with that (no one other than the two cops were witness to either hearing or seeing gunshots outside the officers saying so), along with the cops being on edge from what happened in Chicago (hence their "need" to evacuate Park Towne Place), thereby an overreaction that caused even more hysteria. And then on top of that there may have been a bullet found by the cop, but then Pig McNesby wanted to line up a more embellished ridiculous story (hence a bullet sitting in a hat that looks nothing like a bullet after fired from a gun; and why they can't line up any leads on either a suspect nor where the bullet came from).
