So Machado to LA. Like I said, I didn't want to give up Sixto and everything and I'm glad they didn't do that. LA might be good for us since they have Seager at short. Phils can definitely give him that position this winter if he wants it.
So now, let's try to add another bat for the bench, another reliever, and I would not be opposed to run at Happ or even Hamels despite his struggles this year. Our rotation has been great but you have to wonder how long Vince will stay healthy and if Pivetta can keep this up for the second half.
First place at the break, on pace for 90ish wins, and will be front runners to land Machado this offseason. Future's bright, kids.

Sixto is a weird name. Remember Sixto Lezcano when he played for the Phills in the mid 80's? I always called him Six toesThe Juggler said:So Machado to LA. on the '83 Wheeze kids. If I remember correctly he platooned with Joe Lefebvre for a year until Lefebvre got hurt. I remember Lefebvre having a really good year one of those years before blowing out a knee.eeriepadave said:

Chase back in town for last time unless Phils meet Dodgers in playoffs. Hopefully the weather cooperates. shitty weather for July.0 -
The vanilla peanut butter ice cream at John's is the best ice cream in the city.
That is all.0 -
I don't generally eat ice cream, but vanilla peanut butter sounds pretty good. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

I do maybe once a month in the summer at John's and then maybe once or twice a year when the truck is rolling down the street and I'm sitting on the porch.
But yes, it is outstanding.0 -

I gotta go with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. This place Jojo's near me had the best, but then it got shut down for health violations. Only god knows what was walking on top of my two scoops...0

Interestingly enough, anyone who takes vanilla over chocolate when combined with peanut butter is, in fact, a psychopath.Cliffy6745 said:
