    Boegarts would've been nice...
I thought he’d be the perfect final piece. Pretty sure I said that in my trout ranting
Could've moved him over to 3rd.

Ultimately, what's missing from this lineup is a left-handed infielder.
I was assuming Segura over to 2nd.  Ah well.

Free agency is dead.  Lindor and Betts might be the only ones and I'll believe Boston let's Betts walk when it happens.

So Harper's homerun they said went 465 feet and was the second longest homer at citizens bank park behind Mikael franco who hit one that went like 472.  I'm almost positive Ryan Howard hit one that went around 500 feet in the mid 00's though?
i didn't quite get that either.  Howard hit one in the 3rd deck and both Howard and Giancarlo Stanton hit ones into Ashburn Alley.  either way that Harper shot was a fucking blast.

youtube has a 505 foot home run by Howard

Since Statcast maybe?  Assume that is it.

Apparently they were using the stat cast formula which is kinda new? I didn’t even know that was a thing.

Life is meaningless. Just stating a fact that the world is a better place when the Philadelphia baseball team is good and we can be at our maximum worst.

Especially when your ace, set up man, left fielder, center fielder, short stop, and third baseman all under 30 years old are hurt 4 days into the season. Life is meaningless.

Philly is a lot more fun when they are good, even if the bandwagon will get incredibly painful. The city isn’t that noticeably different when the eagles are rolling but you can feel it when the Phillies are, just because the nature of the sport and it being every day.

Just saw that on Twitter. Which is why he won’t be hitting 8th for much longer, or at least shouldn’t be. And also, why the pitcher batting is stupid.
