By the way, I went to The Met for the first time last night. Not a huge fan. The place looks amazing. But I thought the seats were really small and the sound was not that good. We didn’t the best seats near the back, so I’m sure that played a factor in my perception but was expecting more.

And Bon Iver is good to listen to if you are struggling to fall asleep.
Might go there tomorrow to see Gary Clark Jr.

I was hoping to go to this but doesn’t look like it’s happening. I only get so many hall passes these days and went out to smoke cigars and drink a bottle or two of whiskey last weekend and have sixers tickets next week

And just seeing this....ya serious, Clark? Guy had 8 k's, one earned run, and two hits through 6. Watching that game some of those walks were borderline. He was throwing a nasty two-seamer on the outside of the plate to righties that he was just not getting the calls on.

Related: were you one of the 37 people booing Harper yesterday?

I know but hey, man, five walks is a bit much for six innings.

Not sure it’s possible to hit a ball better than Bryce’s homer.

And how many teams have a 25+ homer guy in the 8 hole?

Well he’s not going to be hitting 8th if he keeps this up so the Phillies won’t either...

I thinkt the Phillies or nats have the best lineup in the NL, which are obviously worse than the three al monsters

    only undefeated team in baseball

So Harper's homerun they said went 465 feet and was the second longest homer at citizens bank park behind Mikael franco who hit one that went like 472.  I'm almost positive Ryan Howard hit one that went around 500 feet in the mid 00's though?

  • I didn't see that....also would have thought that to be incorrect.
I did read that it was Harper's 2nd longest in his career.

i didn't quite get that either.  Howard hit one in the 3rd deck and both Howard and Giancarlo Stanton hit ones into Ashburn Alley.  either way that Harper shot was a fucking blast.

youtube has a 505 foot home run by Howard

Could've moved him over to 3rd.

Ultimately, what's missing from this lineup is a left-handed infielder.
