    Gin Blossoms = (farts)
Nothing the Gin Blossoms put out holds a candle to any Pearl Jam records.

I thought the start of it was awesome.

Kinda was like a wet fart from middle on

They will keep practicing and by the time we see it, it'll be tight.

Yeah, agreed, the chorus, bridge fucks with the song. Will Farrell cameo-ing on some cow bell would probably help out...

Forgot it was St Patty's today.
Checking out Mike's tomorrow I think.
Meeting some people in Philly on Monday night and may suggest Balkan express.

Bitar's.  Should have recommended Bitar's. Good spot.

I dig Garces Trading Co. Haven't been in a few years though.

See, that is the type of great info there I might never get unless I heard from a local (thanks!) or read an article or something.  We love Lebanese food (Zankou in SoCal was a diet mainstay when we lived out there) and have not found a go to place here for that.

Only red flag is that when I googled this join that this picture I saw posted from October 2010 showed this flag hanging in the middle of the shop.
Good stuff....5 years ago.  Shouldn't there be a 2008 or 2009 update?  Were they only clean for a year?

I just want to know when they're gonna get weird again and make something....different. I'd say their last three albums have been pretty much the same. I need a Riot Act/Binaural/No Code.
If they put out another angry but relatively straight-forward album like Avocado I'll be thrilled. I'd also be thrilled by a Binaural-type weird album.

I still enjoy a few songs from the last 2 albums. I really love Force of Nature and Pendulum is solid, even if they overplayed it that first tour.

I don't know if I'd be thrilled with another Avocado, per se, but I get what you're saying - beggars can't be choosers at this point. I'd be elated with a Binaural, or even a Riot Act (probably alone on that latter one, which is FINE).

As a whole I think the past two albums are pretty decent, but there are certain songs on both that really drag them down to me. Force of Nature and Pendulum are both very good songs. And, yeah, I'd say using Pendulum as a walk-on song kinda devalued it.

If I get anything out of this it's....man, I'm a fucking nerd. And INCREDIBLY ungrateful of this band, duh.
