    I didnt think of it that way but I laughed when you did. I dont think the poor froggies like this game but I suspect the crew from the Today Show participating in this pictured race were not harming them by spraying them with water. I know that our man Chadwick is a lover of all animals and I would not want to post anything on his Opinion Thread that was hurting frogs. (I happen to like frogs very much.) I like the idea of spider races....

    i don't frequent the porch but i know the topic of ed & the war lecture, speech, talk, opinion or whatever it may be called. good for ed & his mates. that is all i have on that.

    We used to try to use stuff we liked the taste of because boomers taste horrid typically. (Did you ever eat those thing? :) )
    Sometime we would put them in the middle of a PBJ and then eat 'em. Anything for a trip at that age.
    i know this is pages ago but PSA... Be careful with these badboys! I had the time of my life! Until i ate too many and freaked out. Now I am battling anxiety and depression on a daily basis. Just be careful, even experienced trippers can o a bad road

    chad are your tomatoes ripening early in iowa? These low temperatures have caused my maters to ripen early and they are still small and tart :(

    Jersey crop is strong this year, I picked up 4 today when I stopped at the local Italian market to get some fresh pasta to cook up for dinner.

    tomatoes here are doing fine. im not much of a tomato eater so i will grow them just to grow them while others eat them. i do like the canned sauces & salsa though. this year im not doing much with planting other than i have a few flowers going on. my life is changing around & that is that.

    sweet corn
    watermelon
    g. onion

    mostly i feel like slapping one of my neighbors
    have a nice evening, everyone

    p.s. loving the cooler weather
    not loving when it is hot & humid... welcome to normal iowa summers
    so milder temperatures are thoroughly enjoyed

    I have a lawyer neighbor I would like to slap.....I do it in a metaphorical sense everyday, so I guess the physical slap can wait.

    i love the northwest & i'll tell you a few reasons why i do. mountains & the pacific all right there, that & trees. i also love rain & cooler temperatures so therefore the westcoast kicks ass for me. sure it isn't warm water & there is a shit ton of driftwood logs/trees one doesn't wanna be trapped under when they are coming into shore, it happens i guess, that would frickin suck!

    i lived out there nine years or something. pretty cool but not home & never felt like home. but the mountains & ocean are wonderful
