Chad, I drafted Jose Reyes in the second round of my fantasy baseball draft. After his first at bat, he pulled a hammy and is on the 15 day DL. Who should I use to replace him: Everth Cabrera from the Padres, or Jed Lowrie from the A's?

    uh
    say what?

isn't fantasy ball draft some kinda fancy sexual escapades? the illicit kind

jed(i) is kinda a cool name
that's about all i got for ya here

never saw the film in its entirety, only bits & pieces scattered around tid bits taken from here or there in the flick. with that being the case i would say it is a pretty badass lookin movie from what i've gathered

you good people here have idea what my deal is nor do you care, which is good & fantastic. movies, tv, society, social manners, main stream this or that, popular clothing, nice waxed cars w/ several carbs & a blower popping up from a roaring engine, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, peeing nicely, buying kleenex - using kleenex (- goofy as can be when one has toilet paper, cloth napkins or a sleeve or socks or paper in the printer for when you're writing & printing poetry for the special lady)

i am 20+ years behind in movies. name 14 movies released in the last 19-21 yrs & chances are i have no idea what the fuck is going on. give me a list of actors & actresses & i will be confused & believe they are polo or rugby players, inventors, scholars, members of the fbi's most wanted, drummers from a slightly up & coming band - maybe they are even shitty, surfers, navy seals special warfare ninja operators or marine recon special forces tactical warriors, paintball champions, bridges or & dams named after someone in dedication plaques stamped into boulders on the R-side or L-side of the west, south, east or north end of whatever-wherever bridge or dam structure

it could be lake this guy, lake that gal, lake last name, lake first name, lake dried up & has been, lake alcoholic millionaire shitty hollywood crappy deal of a dude or dude, (women today are also known as dudes), parks, crawl spaces, hidden tunnels, schools, parades, any given day celebrating the life & times of, more crawl spaces & even more hidden tunnels & fake forests designed to trick people & trick them well, baseball mits autographed by babe ruth's impersonator - the actor, or mr. cruise Miramar, California the supersonic two seat f-14 tomcat with variable-sweeping-wing war going aircraft screaming across the desert floor with its twin-jets humming along at 1,544mph (2,485 km/h)with its glorious & experiemental introduction september 22, 1974 & retiring exactly 32 yrs to the very day & minute.

the old man did several tasks when in the u.s. navy. one was launching jets, guiding them in, big & small including choppers. not on a carrier but in southern california's miramar top gun fighter pilot program & whatever other pilot outfit. he also installed ejection seats, served as a shore patrolman, when behaving badly: drunk, fighting, painting his tongue yellow hewould be punished by painting, painting, painting & more painting & a lot & often again & so on, & so forth & etcetera, etcetera, etcetera & again etcetera

see i know who tom cruise is, rather, what flick he played around in. any other cruise films lying around? um.... i'll be damned
uh... yeah that one where he is a japanese samurai drunken mess & gets beat down often for a few years until he dials in his chi or zen or strong mind & center or becomes a pirate like john depp or keith richards - thank you walt disney, yes/no?

    huh, i'll be damned
he was born june 12, 1977 down in lousiana
(two days & five year difference in birthdays between he & i) he's gemini & now i like him even more
he is probably a virtuoso as he got his first guitar (at age three or four) from his grandmother who bought a series of plastic guitars little ken there had went through like nobodies business but was getting serious about playing at age seven after seeing stevie ray vaughan in '84 as ken's father was a live music promoter

he is a self-taught guitarist & in my opinion can probably play by ear & yes he can read music sheets, tabs or whatever they are & can compose his own stuff i'm sure.

pretty amazing musical ability & gift
    but not my cupa tea

imalive, do you listen to a lot of his stuff? ever been to one of his shows?

I think the true great guitarist are rarely seen or heard anymore. Music industry bull shit today. Mr. Shepherd in the video put out some songs for everyday radio (blue on black) but the rest is live or rarely heard. By superstar I didn't mean Ace Frehely(?) I meant one that could express emotions through the sounds in his guitar. I'm not a big over doer either so a nice cabin on top of a mountain, near a river in Montana that I can fish/swim/hunt and play my joy/sadness through my guitar to nature to. But come out yearly for a month or so to make enough money for my little ones and help others would be ideal. I don't want a lamborgini or a Mercedes, just to be happy and live a useful life. But if I hit it big like PJ I probably would have quit while ago or toured much less. If I had enough to get where I wanted I wouldn't need anymore. It would be nice to drop 5 mil into something meaningful though.

    yes and yes

I've seen kws numerous times...the best was right after his first album came out....it was in a sweaty little now defunct place called Fremont street reggae and blues.....the show didn't start til 11 o'clock....I scored a ticket for 10 bucks at about a quarter til.....kws absolutely blew the roof off that place

maybe 15 years later I saw him in the concourse at the palms casino after one of those experience Hendrix shows....I reminded him of that early show....he said "man, I don't even think I was old enough to be in that place"....nope, dude, you were not

To be honest I don't know now. If I had some of the worldy experience these guys have then maybe I would have a better idea. I know Stone does a lot of stuff in his area and maybe that's the best thing to do. I am from Maine originally so maybe some preservation in that state. We can't lose our lobsters in Maine so maybe I will start a save the lobsters campaign! Vegetables? Living where I would like to I wouldn't need to grow anything in particular to survive but it could become a hobby, love corn, potatoes, all greens, carrots and pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins.
