I saw a photo of San Siro from a show, don't know which show was it...altough my first reaction was that I don't like it as a venue for a PJ show, now i have a feeling that this is gonna be kind of a european Buenos Aires because of the huge crowd!

Amsterdam to Milan will have a lot of cheap flights, found one with easyjet for 40€.

I'll probably get to Milan day of the show...not my fav place and it's only 3.5 hours from my hometown, so money to be saved there.

i have a room here booked just in case..no fees to pay,or pay if u cancel
    http://www.booking.com/hotel/it/hotelbe ... hotel_name

its next to centrale train station, has connection to the malpensa, the main airport and its the train will take for trieste
the metro is there too to go to the venue-red line..

has great reviews and good price ,all talking about the breakfast..seems very safe area too, andf in the center of the city..

and, after i saw this photo paul,im really happy they playing san siro after all
i know the feeling about big stadiums, but for people knowing abouyt soccer in europe,we are talking about one of the most historical stadium in the conmtinent,is a wrigley kind of thing..
very glad for they choose that..
even my dad,who0 dont care about my pj thing, said, wow, when i said ill go to san siro.

edit, the most intresting about the venue,is the "cut the stadium from the long side,to put the stafe, not in the goalpost..that means that the last person at the seated isnt that far as we thought will be if the put the scene on the goalpost side..

I think this one will be the easiest to win from the lottery. Because of the capacity.

    I will also be there.

A couple of links that could be useful:

S.Siro is my stadium - or at least half of it. I used to have season tickets to see Inter before moving to Ireland, but I haven't been back since my dad passed away two years ago. So I'm guessing this will be a pretty emotional show for me. I'm just happy I'll have my catharsis through PJ music.

I saw Rolling Stones and U2 in S.Siro and the experience is really something else. Because of the shape the stadium is made and especially when everybody is singing it feels like the sound is just surrounding you and it can get so loud it's almost overwhelming. I really can't wait to see PJ here..

And there goes my first post :)

Hard to say since Europe never had a lottery before (or at least not for a full tour)...but there should be more GA tickets than for the US shows. And this is a big place...so hopefully you'll be fine.

can anyone recommend hotels in Milan?

looking for something fairly nice but not too expensive. Taking family - including my two young boys (not to the show) and want something nice without getting robbed LOL

    HELP!!!
i have a room here booked just in case..no fees to pay,or pay if u cancel
    http://www.booking.com/hotel/it/hotelbe ... hotel_name

its next to centrale train station, has connection to the malpensa, the main airport and its the train will take for trieste
the metro is there too to go to the venue-red line..

has great reviews and good price ,all talking about the breakfast..seems very safe area too, andf in the center of the city..

and, after i saw this photo paul,im really happy they playing san siro after all
i know the feeling about big stadiums, but for people knowing abouyt soccer in europe,we are talking about one of the most historical stadium in the conmtinent,is a wrigley kind of thing..
very glad for they choose that..
even my dad,who0 dont care about my pj thing, said, wow, when i said ill go to san siro.

edit, the most intresting about the venue,is the "cut the stadium from the long side,to put the stafe, not in the goalpost..that means that the last person at the seated isnt that far as we thought will be if the put the scene on the goalpost side..

Good man - thank you Dimitris :D
