I have gotten a rate back from AC Hotels Milano. They are including buffet breakfast but I am negotiating with them to bring down the rate because I think it is too high. The hotel itself is quite nice and across the street from Garibaldi Station.

The chance to see Pearl Jam at the home of AC Milan was too hard to resist, so I've snapped up a ticket. But some advice please - I fly into Linate from London and I'm not sure where to stay. For ease of travelling home the next day I thought staying near the airport would be good but it looks like a nightmare heading back there after PJ so would it be better to stay in the city centre?

Count me in, 10C GA. 10-year anniversary trip this summer was always going to be in Italy ... very nice of Pearl Jam to decide to play for my anniversary, as well.

I'm new to the club and have been a PJ fan from day 1, I was lucky to get picked for GA in Milan and reserve in Trieste. My wife and I will be staying at the AC Hotel. Please keep us in the loop for any get together that the club will be having before and after the show. Also, my wife and I are in our 50's and not as spry as we use to be. Will we be ok in GA or should we look to trade for reserve seats? We will be flying from JFK on the 19th. We're from NJ Anybody else going from NJ?
Got GA tickets for both Milan and Trieste. Will be traveling with my wife and making a little trip out of it, with a stop in Venice on the way to Trieste. Could someone provide me with the names of the train stations in each of Milan, Venice, and Trieste that I would be using for train travel accross the country? Also, where should I stay in each of the three places? I'm not looking for hotel locations, but the general area of town a U.S. traveler should stay when they'll only have one day in each location. Hi, here again with a big doubt: is there any age restriction for the inner circle in the San Siro? I was reading somewhere else that tickets are available only for people over 22, I hope I am wrong, I would like to take my nephew with me and he's 13 (his first concert!! )

Strange question.... im forever seeing footage of fans camped outside the bands hotels in various cities in an attempt to meet the band..... anyone know where the band have stayed or will be staying in milan this year??

a reminder for those flying into MXP, it is not in Milan! it is fairly far outside of the city and requires about 2hrs travel by train...i missed this and may have to reschedule my flight... ouch$$$$!!!!

I'm not sure where you checked but MXP to Milano Centrale (Train Station) is definitely not 2 hours. The bus ride is 50 minutes, and the train is the same if not less. Unless you are staying somewhere on the other side of the city than the Train Station? In that case there is a train that goes to Milano Cadorna in 30 minutes, which will bring you closer to the southern side of Milano.
Well, finally got my flights arranged from the UK to Milan Bergamo - 60 minutes bus transfer into Milan (to Milan Centrale Station) then will have to get out to the San Siro so need to find a hotel that will be convenient for the arrival (bus transfer) and also quite convenient for getting back to afterwards (staying until the Sunday morning).
Did have a reservation for the Holiday Inn at Garibaldi Station but think I will cancel (although only about 1.5m walk from Centrale Station apparently).
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
