Only place i want Leanne is Scotland after that I will pick Wullheide any day of the week then other cities i havent been to visit before so as long as we get a date up here i'll be a happy man with the rest ;)
I think the thing is that we've been kinda lucky to get the gigs we've had, countries far bigger than ours with far denser populations often get one night, often in a capital city or a festival. It'll be great if they played Glasgow, the new arena looks ace but.. we can't be too greedy ;):D

    (Besides... it's a feckin trek for me! :lol::lol: )
i know your dying to come to glasgow ;)

could you imagine pearl jam at the barrowlands!it would be carnage :D

Immense...all time favorite venue...took my good lady and my sister to see the Specials there recently, what an atmosphere, a special place indeed and the band would love that immediate feedback you get from the crowd. Pity the new stage set would have to be left outside Bairds Bar :fp:

ha ha they might manage a few of those swinging lightbulbs on stage and that would be it :D

I really hope they don't do the Hard Rock festival.

    It's rubbish.
    at 2010,was amazing..

    No, it really wasn't.

    The volume is too low.

It was even worse for Soundgarden.

Neither band were at fault, but the volume limit thanks to being in a residential area spoilt it. It has moved now, but I would not want to chance it.

    The sound was crap.

And I'm surprised you paid the band any attention as I presume you were posting on this forum.

Hopefully not too many festivals, though it would be great if they did Glastonbury
A double date at the 02 Arena in London would work too.

Glastonbury have said that the three headliners will be bands that haven't played before.

Fleetwood Mac were a big rumour, but they've been postponing/cancelling dates due to illness, so they may not make it.

    Depeche Mode are another rumour.

    And...Pearl Jam.

Not sure they would fit in as a Pyramid band. Maybe The Other Stage, if they decide to play.

I spoke to Melvin Benn at Reading 2008 and he said Glastonbury have been trying to get PJ for years.

June 2014... hmmm.... I'm just hoping that if it is they either play Glastonbury or that the tour doesn't clash with Glastonbury.... stressing already at the prospect!

Best case scenario, they play Glasto and I get to see them elsewhere too ;)

still crossing everything the Glasto thing is blanked again....the lack of day tickets would be a major headache. and getting a ticket at all in fact.

Im with agreement also - the Hyde Park 2010 sounded amazing from where I was stood.

The sound at Hyde Park is notoriously bad because the volume is too low.

There's no getting around it. They always had it too quiet because of the residential area.

For both PJ and Soundgarden I was close to the stage and could have a conversation with mates without having to raise my voice.

The venue is awful and I hope they never play there again.

Hyde Park was the least memorable PJ gig I've been too...getting out and home aside (leaving Wuhlheide was like floating on a cloud in comparison) - so yeah, play Wuhlheide again please.

strangely I would pretty much agree with this too, but that's because most of my shows have been arena shows which will always piss all over a festival one.

and wulheide was a fantastic place to experience, truly magical
  • I didn't find the sound that bad at Hyde Park for PJ, don't know if I just found a sweet spot or what, but it wasn't noticeably quiet to me. Soundgarden at Hyde Park was a different matter, it was painfully quiet.....

Anyway, I'd love them to do their own one day festival type show with three or four DECENT supporting bands.
