It's really hard to imagine SG without Matt, easier with PJ but he's just so essential with SG. A shame really.

    yeah. my thoughts exactly.

    Pearl Jam Europe in August?

Way Out West festival Gothenburg, Sweden confirmed then.

Does that mean the Way Out festival is confirmed or the fact that PJ is played there in August is confirmed????

As Matt stated, he is staying with PJ instead of Soundgarden so, the tour dates of Soundgarden will not make any difference to the fact when PJ will start touring Europe, am I right in that statement ?? ;)

And.....I dont care when they come to Europe, as long as I know soon when the tickets go on sale for it....... ;)

Sonisphere Festival is now confirmed to be running in the UK next year from 4th to 6th of July.

(It's actually being billed as a celebration of 40 years of rock music at Knebworth Park)

Sonisphere forum has chatter about a possible Pearl Jam headline slot...

Is Sonisphere a very big festival?
    Is it nice??

It's a nice size, big enough to attract decent bands but not so huge. I went a couple of years ago and we had a brilliant time. Would be a great place for Pearl Jam to play.

    Sonisphere stopped for a reason.

It was a decent festival, but it wasn't on the scale of Download or Reading.

It would be preferable to Glastonbury though, as tickets wouldn't be available there and the crowd would be a better fit.

Just back from the QOTSA gig at the Hydro in Glasgow....Pearl Jam would rock this place. It has an almost intimate feel to it and the accoustics are excellent. GO PJ...GO QOTSA... :D:D:D

Nice! How was the show? I'm going to see Queens in Boston next month.

Amazing. If I had the literary skills to put in to words what we experienced last night this post would run to about 2000 words, as it is, I have not, so I won't...phew... :fp:
    Honestly, you'll love it.

The support band, Sweethead, were excellent as well. A kind of Siouxsie and the Bashees and X hybrid. Worth a look on Youtube if you don't already know the band.

P.S. Goodbye 10club and all Pearl Jam fans who tune in to the forums. I've only been a member here for a year and my membership runs out today and this little thing called Christmas that is approaching dictates that the finances go elsewhere. It's been a blast. I've loved every word committed to the page here. Thank you and goodnight.

    Keep on Rockin'... :o

And just to leave on a slightly controversial note. From a purely personal pov, I think Matt shoul stick with Soundgarden. He seems, with them, to be allowed to be the truely gifted and inspirational drummer that he really is. I've always felt he has been marching time in PJ, constricted by what has gone before and what is now expected of a drummer for Pearl Jam.

    Bye...

Berlin would be great again, the band really bring it there, but I think I need to go visit other European cities, a 4th visit may be too much for my wife to put up with

but if its a weekend, I'll be at the Wulheide :D

Yah, been to Berlin twice. Don't really need to visit again, and it will be harder getting friend to tag along a third time.
