Hard rock are no longer sponsoring, and the promoters are trying to find a new one.
Also they are no longer held in Hyde Park but in the Olympic Park, friends went last year and said it was really well organised and the sound was much better.
2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton. 2012 - Manchester i & ii, Berlin i & ii, Stockholm. 2014 - Amsterdam i & ii, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin, Leeds, Milton Keynes. 2016 - Boston Fenway i & ii, 2018 - Amsterdam i & ii, Pinkpop, London i & ii, Padova, Krakow, Barcelona, Seattle i & ii.
In terms of festivals, these were running in June/July last year. I don't know the size or genre specifics of them, it just said pop/rock festivals.

San Siro capacity is around 80.000. So maybe, they wont fill it. But I still think it would be interesting.
So I'd say, a couple festival gigs + closed arenas + Wuhlheide + San Siro would be fine. :corn:  :geek:
If PJ played the San Siro I''m sure the would play a reduced capacity show anyway, maybe 40k-50k due to their own safety requirements. Certainly when they've played similar sized stadiums in South America they've had a reduced capacity than what it can actually hold.
My PJ shows:
London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....

Id say it would be higher than that. Given that the stage is usually on the centre line in front of the 2 tier section, you lose no more than 25% of the seating and even if you restrict stading to 10k you would still have a 70k capacity
San Siro for gigs, with a stage along the pitch (not end) runs with a full capacity of approx 60k. I've seen the stat an various places, and wikipedia appears to back that up - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Siro
And yes I think PJ would reduce that again if they were to play there (Bon Jovi had just over 50k) .
I think there will be gigs of some kind in the UK, possibly Ireland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. But hell I know nothing!

Only place i want Leanne is Scotland after that I will pick Wullheide any day of the week then other cities i havent been to visit before so as long as we get a date up here i'll be a happy man with the rest [/quote]
I think the thing is that we've been kinda lucky to get the gigs we've had, countries far bigger than ours with far denser populations often get one night, often in a capital city or a festival. It'll be great if they played Glasgow, the new arena looks ace but.. we can't be too greedy

No, it really wasn't.
The volume is too low.
It was even worse for Soundgarden.
Neither band were at fault, but the volume limit thanks to being in a residential area spoilt it. It has moved now, but I would not want to chance it.
i was at a suite with the queen and the sound was great!!

Hopefully not too many festivals, though it would be great if they did Glastonbury
A double date at the 02 Arena in London would work too.
ahhhh GLASTONBURY i really wish they would play the pyramid stage .i reckon they would have played last year but due to it being a fallow IOW got them instead .
maybe this year ah
And I'm surprised you paid the band any attention as I presume you were posting on this forum.
come on,you wasting your time, ill not follow u in this level of conversation,to make personal comments cos i have different opinion about a show with another member..i comment at opinions,i have different than yours, thats all
