Damaged vault vinyl (Update: I got the replacement)

My vault vinyl arrived today absolutely destroyed. It looks like it was run over by a truck. I don't even know how it happened. I emailed 10c today with 8 pictures of the damage. Worst part is this seems to be irreplaceable since they only made enough for people who ordered. So I guess the waiting was fun but I don't get to enjoy it like I intended. When I figure out how, I will post the pics here. It's pretty bad. Not what I was expecting in the least.

**UPDATE**

10c has sent a replacement copy as of Tuesday and I am anxiously waiting it's arrival. Fingers crossed it arrives in perfect condition. I want nothing more than to spin this and enjoy it the way it was intended. Thanks 10C. You guys are awesome!!!!! :thumbup:

I'd be shocked if the PJ/10C camp did not make enough to accommodate for issues like this.

If they can't help.. (and hopefully they do) it'll be another bad mark on how they do business.

In other news... I got my special edition Kings of Leon vinyl in the mail. Noticed a scratch on one of the sides. Didn't affect the sound TOO much but did nonetheless.

I sent customer a simple email just letting them know about it. They're sending another copy express shipping right away. No questions asked.

I'm hopeful, but I won't be shocked if they don't have any extras.

I don't know how similar their pressing process was to something like the Thirdman Records Vault but they always allow extras for fuckups and then some. I don't think they'd just shut down the presses as soon as the correct number came down the line.

I think this link above should work. Shows what happened. I haven't opened it yet but clearly the vinyl is unplayable. Hoping 10c can help me out.

Holy shit! That is terrible. Hope they make it right.

The packaging was solid, but that's unacceptable treatment. They should change shipping options for sure to ensure more care and include signing for the package while they're at it.

Wow that is one of the worst things I've seen, how the hell does it get damaged that bad.

I would have to imagine they have a few boxes of extras at the warehouse, that they will later sell at an inflated price, like they did with the Benny's at the poster convention.

My jack white lightning bolt vinyl came damaged. Emailed them, mailed it back, and they sent me a replacement

I would be shocked if 10club didn't produce extras

Yeah. It's disheartening to say the least. It was packaged very well. It had to have been run over by a truck or something. None of this is 10c's fault. But holding out hope that they might have had a few extra pressed for unforseen circumstances such as this. You can bet the Post Office is gonna get a written complaint about this. Not that anythings going to happen but I feel its my only recourse. After waiting over 4 months for this so I could enjoy it, it's kind of a letdown.
