Omigod, the Boston show was ridiculous. Chris played for 3 hours, he was in a fantastic mood. The banter was the best part, I really hope there's a boot out there somewhere, this is a show I need to remember.
He did the One mashup. He said he's always liked the U2 song but then confused the lyrics but thought it was cool so he's been doing it, he said we could decide if we liked it and the crowd clearly did.
He did Trouble! I don't know if he's covered if before, at least I haven't heard it before. Interesting to hear his version since I love when Ed does it.
He sang Freebird because someone yelled it out!
**Edit: Good god. U2, not REM. I have a version of the song with Michael Stipe singing which I LOVE, so my brain thinks it's an REM song. Getting older is not helping the brain cells

I was there too, really great show. My only complaint is how obnoxious the people around me were. I was towards the back of the orchestra and people were just loudly talking through the whole show. I don't know if it was because it was Friday and people were drunk and it was just a thing to do on a Friday night? Regardless I got into some confrontations over it and had to excuse myself before the encore, which sucks because it looks like it was amazing! I'm just happy I am going to the Northampton and Providence shows with closer seats and on "school nights" so hopefully people won't be assholes!
I have a couple extra tickets for the Providence show, PM me if interested!
