Hope this guy seriously got his membership pulled! section 421 row 7, I believe sets 104+105.

Guy next to him asked him to put out his cigarette, guy proceeded to stand up and blow smoke into his face, when he told him to stop and sit down the guy punched him in the face 3 times then took off running!

I know security caught the guy, and im sure he was arrested and has charges coming down the wire, but I hope that 10 Club keeps tabs on which seats they give out to which members and revokes the memberships of those who cause problems like this! Guy was a total dick and represented the 10C and all the other Bostonians who visited in a poor light!!

Also, to the guy who got hit, I hope you are ok and you were able to come back after the delay and enjoy some of the show, if not, hit me up and I will personally buy you a copy of the bootleg when released!

Oh, wow. That's nuts! We next to that section and saw the aftermath, with the guy bleeding all down his shirt, wondering what happened. Did not look pretty. Likewise, I hope the guy is alright and the assailant gets what's coming to him.

I witnessed this go do from section 422. It looked & sounded pretty awful. I'm a dentist so my first thought was this guy might have some teeth knocked out. I ran over to see if I could help & was pleased to see he still had all his teeth. His eyebrow and nose were cut pretty deeply and he was bleeding like crazy. Everyone around him instantly pitched in to help and one guy even chased the attacker down when he fled the scene. Paramedics arrived pretty quickly and escorted the guy that got punched out. I seriously doubt he returned the show. From the looks of the lacerations on his face, I'm sure he had to get a few stitches at the ER. I never saw him come back to section 421. Anyway, to the dude who got punched, if you see this, I hope you're alright and I'm sorry your night was ruined. I know how disappointed I'd be if I were enjoying myself at a Pearl Jam concert and some asshole cut it short for me. Hope you make it to another show this fall.

I saw a lot of douche bags at the show. It was really disappointing. Also, so many fucking smokers. I was surrounded. Such entitlement.

I saw the guy who got punched. I was wondering WTF happened! He was covered in blood and cuts on his face. He looked like he was in rough shape. Felt bad for the guy.

Reminds me of the drunk dude that kept trying to start fights with people at Ed's solo show in Chicago a couple of years ago. It would be crazy if it was the same guy...

what a jerk, this kind of behaviour reminds of those latecomers at any show in my country, who doesn't care about anything or anyone but themselves, and push and elbow their way to the front of the stage, being disrespectful towards the ones who arrived early, and not caring about safety, even their own...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

yes, my friend sent me an angry text about getting 'splashed' by the person behind her relieving himself in the stands. There are other details about the incident, but I will let her share those if she wants to.

At least the douches in London waited until the last song to pull their shit... They were seated behind us but decided to stand up on their seats and block the view of the couple behind them. When the couple behind them complained they turned around and basically started shoving the guy around. Security gave said douches a pass after they got off their chairs but these two started having words with the couple behind them and they were promptly escorted out of the building. We saw them outside of the Bud Gardens after the show and they were bragging to their buddies about being kicked out of the show.

    Way to go Ass-Clowns.

what a shame, this absolutely sucks.

Yes he got arrested and will likely get a slap on the balls for his troubles, but what is so sad is nothing can make good on this guys ruined night - a night he probably looked forward for for months and months.

Arresting him was too good for him, its a shame he didn't get more than he bargained for.

Punching someone and then running away? unreal.

And the dude pissing on people? JUST WOW. is that for real? like seriously?

I was glad i couldn't go to Chicago (i had a great reason). Now i'm REALLY glad we didn't go.
i'm sure there were more good people than bad but it seems like every story is more frat boy than usual. Rain, merch nightmares, no security, idiots everywhere. We'll try to hit a normal show if they tour next summer.

  • I heard a lot of people complaining about doucheyness - and these 2 stories were beyond disgusting. I was lucky to be surrounded by cool people for the most part.
I am a smoker and not a drinker - i am glad no one complained about my cigarette smoke - i try to blow it up in the air (that's what she said) but i don't complain about hearing them say the same thing 5 times in a row or getting a little beer spilled on my foot so i think its all relative.

Sorry to hear this poor guys show got ruined be ause of some asshole. I was in section R and some guy behind me tried to pick a fight with me. They didn't even belong in those seats but moved there after the rain break. He was drunk and kept pushing his chair into mine because he was trying to make out with his girlfriend who only kept saying how hot Eddie was. They didnt know any songs and didn't have bracelets so they didn't belong there. I asked them nicely several times to please stop elbowing and hitting me with the seat. I am a 5'5" 50+ female and he was a younger 6' male. The last time I got elbowed in the head I asked him to please be careful and he started harassing me and calling me an f'n bitch and saying he was going to f' me up. I finally had enough and went and stood on the outer area of the field seats to watch the rest of the show. I didnt want to ruin anyone elses show so i didnt tell the guys sitting next to me he had threatened me. I will never again go to a stadium show. Almost ruined my whole evening.
