Thank you EarthCam, without you, non of this would have been possible.
Oh ya... and the most awesome band on the planet.
Thank you Pearl Jam for coming through for everyone!!!!0 -
I give the guys a ton of credit..... Pulling off the show after the rain and playing til 2 is amazing. That said, I was very disappointed with the set and the entire weekend. For those of us who stood on line, it was a train wreck. Once they came back after the rain I expected fireworks. I did not get it. The people leaving were deflated.1991 October 17, DeKalb, IL1991 November 29 Chicago, IL (Aragon)

Great show! Well done boys ... thanks for making it happen. Nothing like getting home at 3 am when you only live a mile from the venue. Awesome to hear Hold On ... loved the rest of the set ... and I thought section 424 was loud all night! Special thanks to Ray, Kevin, Shawn, Alfredo and Chris, all of whom I met tonight, for the various things you did to make this night special!
Can't wait to follow the fall tour from home ... hope you all get to experience the show you want!!0 -

It started yesterday with mine and about 7 other's fight delayed for 6 hours from Pittsburgh. Long waits in merch lines. The show didn't end until 2 am. The girl i planned on marrying abruptly and unexpectedly left not that long ago. I was barely able to keep my shit together throughout a few songs. But it was all worth it. This is why we all listen to this band, because of nights like this. Maybe it helped, maybe it didn't, but dammit it felt great."Fuck the talkin' let's start rockin" - Eddie Vedder 9-5-00 Pittsburgh

Still in shock they pulled it off. Thank you
Great show Really li,ed lightming bolt. Imo better than 3/4 of backspacer just on one listen
Cd/cot. Killed it
Was so happy to get present tense after seeng they played in london
Then after the break, "balls to the wall" indeed. They packed a lot of energy in that 2 plus hours.
Sngs like rvm and porch had a little something extra to it
Ed voice sounded great. I thot the soundon the floor was better than 90pct stadium shows ive been too
We were pretty friggin lucky to get that effort
The poor people that worked there had no idea they were gonna be working that late. Thx to them too
Rodman def did not leave. Saw him by the vip area holding court taking pics w peeps and having a good time after the show. Dude loves his pj!
Good job everybody. Some serious shit went down and 99 pct of you handled it w maturity and respect. Bc of that the band can go out and bust curfew by 3 hours
Pretty funny looking at the original setlist that eddie knew exactly when the show would get stopped.'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

LOVED the set and setlist.
I felt like the crowd lost a lot of steam with the delay.
Wife and I stayed put in the lower bowl through the storm.
Very unique experience!
Highlights of the night for me: Hold On, Porch, RVM.Hey, hey. My, my. Rock and roll can never die.
"Why go home? I am home! And I gotta tell you, it feels FUCKIN GREAT to be here. You may experience this yourself but, if you were born in Chicago, you're always from Chicago. And even if you don't live in Chicago, Chicago will always live in you."-Ed0 -
Tonight was definitely a fun experience, even though it's 3:15am and I just got back to my hotel room only to then turn around and make my way to the airport ~4:30am. I had GA tonight, and stood directly in front of Ed about 20 yards back from the stage. The rain itself wasn't threatening but all involved understandably had to play it safe and kick everyone off the floor while the delay was in effect. Bugs was flawless, Lightning Bolt was good and has an unmistakable Springsteen vibe to it. Future Days builds on the foundation laid down by Just Breathe. Eruption was a lot of fun. On the setlist but cut due to the 2am curfew: Speed of Sound/Other Side, Sleight of Hand, and Man of the Hour (all after Future Days) plus Betterman (after Life Wasted). Alive and Baba were to be played after Black, and Yellow Ledbetter was supposed to close after RITFW.
Good night Chicago. To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Was in 424 myself and concur we had a great time too. I'm so completely exhausted emotionally and physically but there's no way I can sleep. I met some friends from the board and that was fun. Met lots of friendly and fun people waiting 5 hours for merch and waiting to enter at the gate and waiting for the train and waiting to pee oh yes and waiting for the rain to stop. I loved every second. Got to share this with my brother who is one of my favorite people on the planet. Most of all saw the best band on the planet and some of my favorite songs. I have a lot of catching up to do and this was an incredible start. Love you pj, I can't say thank you enough for what you've given back to me. See you in Philly. Goodnight all!5/3/92 Omaha, NE

Fun night..... Long day..... They sounded terrific, Matt, stone, Mccready stood out to me as rejuvenated badass mofos.
Happy Ed had a dream come true... Ernie Banks got me all choked up, not even a Cubs fan.... That was special.
It looked hairy for a while, turned out so cool.
Loved the new tracks.0 -

It's really a pity that the rain caused a 2 hour break, but I think the way they handled it was the best way possible.
I was very pleased with the setlist - I had a feeling they would go back and forth between hard core fan rarities and casual fan greatest hits, and they did a pretty decent job of that. There were songs thrown in there that I never would have expected...I FINALLY got to hear Bugs and Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns! So excited.
Ed looked so happy, like a kid on Christmas morning - that was the best part of it for me - his dream come true!
Plus I got to eat Cracker Jacks. :corn:
Here's hoping they'll do it again someday.Chicago 2000 : Chicago 2003 : Chicago 2006 : Summerfest 2006 : Lollapalooza 2007 : Chicago 2009 : Noblesville (Indy) 2010 : PJ20 (East Troy) 2011 : Wrigley Field 2013 : Milwaukee (Yield) 2014 : Wrigley Field 20160 -

I SAW PEARL JAM AT WRIGLEY......
I SAW PEARL JAM IN THE RAIN......
So second time they opened with Release in the rain together with Verona06 then?
And I bet many people waited not because "they believe" but because they paid a lot of money and... want to see Pearl Jam.Not something unique that PJ finished their set.
Nice looking setlist and too bad stuff got fucked with the weather. Hold On I bet sounded ace."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
