I can't take it anymore, i was reading this topic and finally can't take it no more. what band does anyone know that doesn't wanna make money along with their music??????? It's how they make a living, My girlfriend and here mom just paid $150 a ticket for madonna, look at what the WHO are charging, why because they need MONEY! the music is great but would any band just make music as their career just because. They need to get paid and deserve it, they have changed alot of peoples lives and for that they should be thanked!!!!
    Go Birds!!!!
  • I kind of agree with you here. I think the best solution would be to just not spell it out on the ticket. I'll be honest, I've gone to three shows this tour and only looked at the ticket to get my seat locations. But I think it's a bit silly to spell it out on the ticket. Either that or just keep it all silent because I imagine there are people who would even still get bent out of shape knowing there money is going to help kids or homeless folks.

I have no issues with donating to charity. I don't want to look like I do. I don't mind paying the extra cash. I did see a sign up in Detroit I believe that at least said what the night's charities were.

How much are The Who charging this time? I thought about joining their new club but it's $59 and they don't promise great seats.

Well, I emailed him yesterday through eBay. I didn't jump all over him, I just said, "it's a disease and they're all green....you ought to be ashamed of yourself." He replied with a bigass somewhat bitchy email about what a great fan he is and he's got medical bills and blah blah blah.

He also claimed that he was only selling them on eBay to make sure the "biggest fan" got the tickets and that he's actually only charging face value for them. He said "check my feedback in a few days to prove it." Well, maybe he panicked and made the buyer agree to saying something like that in his feedback. I did kinda feel bad for the guy if he's telling the truth about his medical condition and bills but still....a million other ways to make money, right?

This has been real fun. I love fucking with Pearl Jam fans, uptight twats.

Thanks for helping me kill a Friday.. .and thanks for paying for me to do it, since I am a government employee and you guys pay my salary.

    It's happy hour time.

someone should look at his myspace site and find out who he is, then forward his post to the Feds...not for his negative attitude (he is entitled to that), but for the fact that he wasted his day on the boards at taxpayer expense!

I tried to look up his myspace page and it doesn't exist. Either I'm doing something wrong or he took it off. Dunno, all I know is that he's a douche.

Okay, but you do realize that you're breaking the rules selling those tix, and that you deserve to have them taken away from you, right?
I'm sure you're probably cool, most PJ fans are, but you're obviously trying to make $ off the band...you could've transferred them to someone on here for face value, I'm sure there are a TONNE of 10c members trying to get their hands on these.

    Peace

whether u care is irrevlant,it's a 10c rule buddy. so no matter what your brilliant mind tells, u it's still fucked up and the person doing this should be axed.

I have never argued that the person SHOULND'T suffer the price of selling his tickets AT THE HAND OF THE TEN CLUB. The TC can axe him or do whatever they please.

I am not the 10C police, I don't work for them, so why would I care what someone else does.

    It's that simple.

There are many bigger things to worry about (how about... the seemingly near world war three?)
